seekthefallen: Description: In our last installment, the team discovered a
large hybrid octopus. The creature was harmless, but it was frightfully large
and ugly. Behind it lay a totem with a bright --
OnlineHost: bloodied vodka has left the room.
seekthefallen: sapphire atop of it and the handle was shaped to look like
that of a mermaids tail. This totem had a strong aura to it and when touched,
felt like it was being drawn to another area of the lake. This is where your
story begins. You
seekthefallen: and yours are sent a message to meet Coran on the banks of
the lake, Coran has been given the totem by Mela who recovered it. [BEGIN RP]
seekthefallen: Coran was standing on the edge of the water, feeling the
powerful, mystic draw the totem had, leading her toward the depths of the
water. Her eyes narrowed as she looked out, waiting on the others.
FaytedWhispers: Message in hand, Dani headed to where the meeting was to
take place. She carried her heavy adventurers pack, its strap threaded over
one shoulder. A pair of old warn daggers belted at her waist in equally worn
sheathes. She wore a

FaytedWhispers: plain unadorned armor made of blackened leather, also aged.
Yeah, one can tell the girl hasn't bought a new set of gear and equiptment in
quite a long time! Upon noting Coran in the distance a hand would lift in
simple greeting,
FaytedWhispers: while she made her way over.
Angelic Omicidio: She was staring at thee water at this point thinking a
second. Looking to them a second, she moved over to Dani. Placing the
scroll on the girl she read it over putting her hand. Dani would feel a warm
light over heras she
Angelic Omicidio: was enchased in a spell.
Angelic Omicidio: ( "Shieldmaiden" Spell Scroll - Activated on Dani! )

Angelic Omicidio: Cause, Amata was a pimp.
seekthefallen: Coran stayed silent for a long moment before she looked to
the tow of them with a small smile. "Good day you two. I hope you're ready...
we have to in..." She looked back to the water, slightly worried.
FaytedWhispers: Oh! she felt the warmth surround her form and a grin was
offered to Amata. "Thanks." She really wasn't sure what kind of effect it had
though.

Angelic Omicidio: "I'm ready." she nudged dani at this point, and slowly
stepped forwward to do her thing with them!
FaytedWhispers: A nod, the girl was always ready. "Just lead the way."
Looking to the water herself she gave a bit of a shiver. Oh gods, she didn't
want to die!
FaytedWhispers: Nudges she was! And followed directly behind Amata.
seekthefallen: [ Once underwater, if one does not have an ability that
grants underwater breathing... they must resurface every two rounds of
combat, or every other post made. ]
seekthefallen: Coran waded her way into the water and dove once it was deep
enough.
FaytedWhispers: Another shiver of revulsion before diving down herself. She
was a cat, and cats hated water! Argh. And she would be on who needed to
resurface every couple of minutes.

Angelic Omicidio: She didn't have the ability to hold her breath but she did
something else. She emptied her water skin, and filled the blatter with air.
She'd keep this just incase! This point she was stripping down as she walked
tossing
Angelic Omicidio: all but her armor into the land. Thankfully the other
being could cover her, mostly! xD
seekthefallen: Once underwater, Coran moved her hand to her forehead as she
used the other to swim deeper in. The hand on her forehead began to glow as
she began to cast a spell. [Spell name: Adaption, Targets: Self, Type:
Effect, saving throw: no

FaytedWhispers: There were times like this she wished she was a werefish or
even a weredolphin, but then even they had to come up for air. Eyes wide and
open under the water she focused on Coran, as arms swayed to pull her deeper
after the woman.
seekthefallen: [ Spell lasts for no longer than 24 hours. Lets her adapt to
any situation or place. ]
Angelic Omicidio: A werefish was epic. Not going to lie, she'd tottally
pick up and carry a small thing for the woman. Mhmm it'd be funny Into the
water nd down she went.

seekthefallen: Coran blinked a moment as the spell was cast and she felt her
chest heave in what would have been enough water to drown her, but her body
adapted and she turned, swimming backwards while looking at the others, the
totem in her hand
Angelic Omicidio: Oh yes Mario thee playing in her head.
seekthefallen: directing her to deep on the floor of the lake.
Angelic Omicidio: She'd swim forward with the small group, keeping near
Dani. to the toem theey went!
FaytedWhispers: Gotta love the Mario theme! In any case, her breath was
holding up well enough, lungs expanded and not yet aching for air so she kept
on while making sure the other two women were near.
seekthefallen: Coran swam toward what could now be seen as a cave. With the
sun above them brightly shining, it wasn't as hard as usual to see in the
depths of this place.
Angelic Omicidio: Well she was holding her breath, seemed finally all that
experience using her breath for certain actions paid off. Forward to the
cave she went!
seekthefallen: She swam on, toward the cave, swimming through the entrance
and finding a ledge to pull herself down and place her feet on the sandy
floor.
FaytedWhispers: Swam hard towards the cave, the refraction of the sun in the
water used as a guiding beacon. The entrance was as wide as it was long and
soon Dani moved into it.

seekthefallen: This one was much larger and had more light shining in from
the sunbeams coming through a hole in the rock ceiling. This cavern had one
entrance and exit, and that was
seekthefallen: the way they had entered. It didn't have any paths to follow,
just a large stone pillar that looked slightly like a worshiping statue.

already spotted. She discovered small creatures flittering

just look around. spotting something sh tapped them and pointed to what she
found. Grunt grunt.
seekthefallen: in the water around piles of what looks like human bones.
These creatures haven't spotted the group yet. She also spots a pile of
mundane weapons, armor, and shields.
Angelic Omicidio: ... Dollar signs appear in her eyes.. jackpot for monies!
FaytedWhispers: A small stream of bubbles slipped from the corner of her
lips as she felt the tap from Amata. Blinking some she looked around trying
to see what caught the womans interest.
seekthefallen: Coran was also trying to spot whatg Amata was seeing.
seekthefallen: Was Amata going to move in on the mundane stuff?
Angelic Omicidio: ... Well she did<///b> the 2 symbol or whatever the s,all
creatures amoutn was as she moved forward to them. Hand came to her weapon
to get them to ready as they moved forward to it!

seekthefallen: Amata moving in closer managed to catch the little creatures
attention and they made a loud screeching noise. These small creatures are
no more that 2 feet tall, and 9lbs.
seekthefallen: They had green colored wings that worked more like fins for
their tiny bodies to float in the water easily. Their eyes were large, taking
up the most of their faces, they had no noses,
seekthefallen: and the rest of their tiny heads were taken up by a large
mouth with hundreds of tiny, razor sharp teeth. The creatures separate, two
to each member, the two closest to Mata moved in for attack!

chest and clawing at her with its little child-like hands!

sheath she slashed out at the first one. Shoo! [+3 dmg fighter bonus]

the wall, and then she was slammed back into the wall by the next. Air
bubbles flew from her mouth with an inaudible scream before she drew her
sword and sliced BC4.

one, hoping it was BC1. Daggers still in hand she thrust out towards its
wings before slasshing her blades away, hoping to lacerate those flapping

gazed around it. "Guys, I have a feeling what we need is... around here." She
signaled around the statue

fingers into the sand.

what we found and come out another day?"

seekthefallen: Coran started swimmin for the surface.
FaytedWhispers: So once again she made her way to the surface of the lake
and backpeddled to the shore.

seekthefallen: Once on the shore again, Coran dispelled the spell from
earlier and looked to the two. "Good work girls." With that, the group made
their way back to the keep with what they found and offered it to Emma who
gave them each 900gp! THE

FaytedWhispers: There were times like this she wished she was a werefish or
even a weredolphin, but then even they had to come up for air. Eyes wide and

FaytedWhispers: Gotta love the Mario theme! In any case, her breath was
holding up well enough, lungs expanded and not yet aching for air so she kept
on while making sure the other two women were near.
seekthefallen: Coran swam toward what could now be seen as a cave. With the
sun above them brightly shining, it wasn't as hard as usual to see in the
depths of this place.
Angelic Omicidio: Well she was holding her breath, seemed finally all that
experience using her breath for certain actions paid off. Forward to the
cave she went!
seekthefallen: She swam on, toward the cave, swimming through the entrance
and finding a ledge to pull herself down and place her feet on the sandy
floor.
FaytedWhispers: Swam hard towards the cave, the refraction of the sun in the
water used as a guiding beacon. The entrance was as wide as it was long and
soon Dani moved into it.

the sunbeams coming through a hole in the rock ceiling. This cavern had one
entrance and exit, and that was

These creatures haven't spotted the group yet. She also spots a pile of

FaytedWhispers: A small stream of bubbles slipped from the corner of her
lips as she felt the tap from Amata. Blinking some she looked around trying
to see what caught the womans interest.
