Pools of darkened brown would gaze with curious intent as the age-old warlock, Kierkan Landers, would make his way through the overgrown forest that seemed to surrounded all of the important areas that he had learned of thus far. He had spent most of his time within the Magi Tower studying and learning more about the ways of these people and spending time learning the common language. Even though Kierkan could understand them just fine, he still wished to learn to write this language as well. Kierkan pressed that tall staff that he carried everywhere with him hard within the blackened soil that lingered beneath his feet. This forest was painted with a glum pale hue that turned Kierkan's stomach slightly. as he would see that the ancient wood be at its old tricks again. The vision that he had at this very spot of the woods where he stood would remind him of that deathly and alarming vision he had here several weeks ago. Lingering eyes would fixate directly upon that sickly colored oak wood and his memories would perplex to an extent to cease his movement.
While Kierkan was lost in his worrisome thoughts, another soul would also be in those woods tonight with. Agnes Clayborn. Agnes hadn't expected to run across anyone either. She rarely did when she visited these woods. The small cant of her head was given as the young lady approached the young male would stared so wildly toward the bone wood tree. "Good evening, Kierkan." She spoke softly as she watched the expression on his face. Anges' form was catered with the usual attire she often wore. A dull gray dress that flowed flawless around her sweet and adoring features. Her chestnut hued hair that normally flowed passed her shoulders was at the moment pinned up into a tidy knot "Are you alright?"
The seemingly young man would become startled completely taken aback by another's presence within the forest now. Kierkan's hues of brown would quickly bounce to attention and his entire body would jerk toward the woman that stood before. His staff would quickly aim out away from his body toward the woman before him as he knew not who she was at first. Quickly it would subsided when the familiar face would finally refresh his distracted mind. "Oh . . Hello there. It has been a while, old friend." The small framed boy would quickly lower his staff from attack mode as he knew that it was rude to continue. A gentle sigh would pass his lips before he finally spoke again. "I should not have allowed myself to be consumed with such deep thought in a forest such as this." He knew the evils that lurked within but his mind would never relinquish that image that was burned into his memory like a brand upon
cattle.
He would simply adjust the white robes that covered his body. He was dressed like a saint but the irony of it all was this was not Kierkan's intent. He knew nothing of other customs of the people he had meet thus far; only of his homelands. He simply looked upon her and gazed with inquisitive nature. "Pray tell, young woman, why does a person such as yourself wander these darks woods?"
Agnes only looked to the staff with an arched brow, however, her hands folded against her chest in response to it. Agnes didn't wear the mage robes unless she were working within the confines of the academy. That..and she didn't like the black robes she was asked to wear. It just didn't suit her. The small smile touched her lips at his words now. "These woods are good for drawing out deeper thoughts." She gave a small nod as she canted her head a bit. While Kierkan and many others were a great deal older then their appearance, Agnes was simply her age. "A person such as myself? I am not entirely sure what you mean by that..but I enjoy the solace the forest here offers." She answered quietly as she looked around them then back to the white robed mage before her.
It must have been his speech that made him come off as rude rather than just confused by human nature of the people that took residence in these lands. He was learning quickly but not as quickly as Kierkan had hoped as a lot of things were still a mystery to him. His brow would furrow as he realized how his words must have come across wrong and callous. "I only ask because I care for your safety. The spirits that have left the physical realm cling to these lands attached with relentless grip. These spirits pass visions of their passing to me and it haunts my restful sleep. Darkness ravages these woods like beasts running rampant within the public. It is rather difficult for me to let it go so I have come back against my wishes to learn more of what lies beneath the surface of the oak and dirt." He would state his true purpose with menacing features. If one would look upon his face, you would see how distraught and disturbed by what he had seen in this visions. It was unfortunate that no one else saw these things. They were most troubling for the Antarian. Although Kierkan would experience something strange as his burden would finally be seen by sensitive eyes very soon.
Agnes Clayborn was a rarely ever in these woods actually. She was just simple pure blood human, however, that was neither here nor there. She allowed a faint smile to paint those lips before she spoke again. "I appreciate your concern..though I have very little to fear from this forest." Kierkan's eyes would stare blankly toward her because this was far from the truth. Agnes had never felt..unsafe here so she didn't see a reason why she would start now. As he continued his explanation, she canted her head slightly and gave a slow nod. "I do know that Agrylax was doing a study of the bone forest not long ago..but what came of it.. I honestly don't know." She admitted. " However, it is curious over the visions and such. When did they begin?" She asked softly, she could see the unsettled feeling the man had about him.
The end of the staff was planted firmly within the festering soil, as he would lean against it resting his weary bones. Honestly he had not realized how long he had truly been walking for the past few hours. Kierkan's mind would sometimes take control of his thoughts and guide him to places without him even knowing he was being called or pulled into a certain direction. Kierkan learned a long time ago that the Fayth, his people's guides and gods, would have given him this gift for a reason and he would not deny his gift ever. He followed it pridefully. Raising his eyes to meet with hers when the question was formed and stated, he spoke after a long worrisome pause. "I traveled a great distance to arrive here. I would meet strangers inside the lady of the keep's main room. These strangers and I would come to the forest in search of answers and I seemed to get more than I bargained for. I would receive my first vision that night in this very spot. Humans were being drug into the earth against their will. Their flesh had taken and devoured underneath the surface. Although that was not the end. Reanimated bones clawing at the floor's grasp with the most sick acts prepared to bring upon the land. Now every night when I sleep, a dark figure comes to my dreams and talks of punishment and revenge. It troubles me. I lay awake at night sometimes. I cannot dream the rest of the dream because I have been too frighten to learn what lurks within these woods.Until I learn what I need to know, the dreams will not stop." He would shake his head dejectedly after those words would leave his mouth.
The young lady listened as he described the dream, studing him while he spoke. "It sounds as if you are clairvoyant." Agnes spoke softly as she glanced around and moved toward one of the moss covered rocks. Even in the face of such a serious topic, she still fretted for a moment with her skirt before looking back to him. "[color316076]It is interesting you speak of this truly..as Mela and myself were speaking this night of an ancient city of necromancers..that may exist within the swamplands.[/color]" She compared the conversations but the one with Mela had been only speculation. Kierkan was speaking of visions and dreams. It could possibly have been nothing more than a dream..however they rarely reoccurred with such detailed repetition. She reasoned to herself. "The only suggestion is to locate the exact point in which the dream takes place then allow it to unfold."
A few blinks would be given as he analyzes the woman's speech very closely. A person would learn he did this often as he was most of the time examining things within his mind before he would even speak another word. Finally, words fell from his lips as he gave it a good amount of thought. now. How come this thought never entered my mind, he scold himself. "I am clairvoyant. In my village, this gift is not a wanton one in the eyes of others. The dead come to me within my dreams and pass visions to me of the past and future. Unfortunately, the dead never have kind or sweet memories to impart to me. Most spirits still clinging onto the life they once had and have unfinished business or simply died in such unspeakable manner and wish to share their experiences with me. It is a not sight that many would ever wish to have but it helps me to understand and see clearly of things not known." There were perks and their far too many downsides to the gift. "My sisters and grandfather had this gift. Although the most troubling things about my dreams is they do not make sense. I know the people from my visions are of the past that died in these woods, but the dark looming figure stands beside a waterfall. There is no waterfall here." He was referring to the hidden waterfall
within the woods that he had yet to come across.
Anges wrapped her arms around her drawn up knees as he spoke and explained further. The young lady had a terrible habit of merely staring at the person talking. Just as he had the quick logical break and rebuilt the information offered, she gave a small nod. "It is not unheard of as that gift traveling heretically through families." She spoke softly then allowed her eyes to lower slowly away from him. "I do not have a map of the forest itsself, however, I have traveled a good many of these paths..though certainly not all of them." The dark eyes lifted, pausing for just a moment to recollect her thoughts. Finally, her words began again. "If you wish, we can begin searching this waterfall out." She gave a small shrug of her shoulders. She was not at all discounting the horrors that had come along with speaking to those departed souls. In truth, Agnes avoided thinking of the dead speaking at all, more because she did not need another round of nightmares herself..nor did she wish to consider the other odd things that had come to light within her own life.
Those peering orbs would move about along the floors as Kierkan would recollect his thoughts once more. Honestly, wandering these woods in his opinion at night was not the wisest of choice as he only had bad experiences within this forest. He was attacked and harmed by skeleton remains and plagued with dark secrets that the dead had shared with him. Kierkan believed in the light and knew of the dark. Kierkan feared dark so much. Kierkan tried to be brave and strong but he had lived in a magical village free of all evil for over 700 years. It wasn't until he set out his pilgrimage did he learn of what horrors were in the outside world. Fixating those eyes back upon the female, a horrible but helpful thought would come to his mind. "I could try to call upon another vision again to aid us to find this place." That would send his stomach whooshing about almost endlessly just at the mere thought of asking these horrid visions to invade his mind and soul once more willingly. Although they had a need for direction and the vision could supply one. They needed a path to pursue without wandering so aimlessly in these dark and menacing woods.
The beautiful mage lifted a brow and watched him carefully. "If you wish to do so." She gave a small nod. She couldn't imagine inviting such things were easy upon him as she slipped her legs back down and rose from the rock she was perched upon. "Is there anything I can do to be of assistance?" Ages would inquired. She lacked the mind's eye that the male did so the complications that would likely follow or participate within such a feat was lost upon her but she wished to aid him however she could.
Swallowing hard against the bile that was trying to rise up in his throat, Kierkan's eyes would fall upon that trembling hand; it was his hand. Quickly, gripping it with his other hand, he would take a few breathes and trying to steady his nerves. "It would be helpful if you sat next to me and held my hand. I never know what to expect when the vision takes hold. If anything happens, you must break my connection with your voice." He would state with a stoic face trying to guise his nervous nature that bleed to his very soul right now. The man would turn upon his heels and look to the very oak tree that gave him the vision the first night within these woods. Another harsh swallow was given as he lessened the distance between him and it. Coming to a seated position, he would hold his slender hand out for the female to take. He would look back and gaze up with her with a sweet, soft gaze and facial features, looking for support.
The puppy dog look wasn't needed as she walked with him. Once he had seated himself, she took a moment to sit down beside him. The small and soft hand slipped into his own as she gave a small nod. She faced him, not the tree as she gave a small nod. "No worries, Kierkan." She spoke in order to give him some courage in this.
The reassurance would go a long way as he would feel a little more comfortable about performing this feat. Kohl lashes would fall over those orbs of brown and he would focus his magical mind upon the recesses that most people could not normally access. One more breath would be taken before his left hand would press against the slimy sap pasted oak tree. Although nothing would happen after several moments. He turned his head to the side toward Agnes to speak with curious eyes. "Maybe the spirits that called out to me have moved on to their final resting place?" He referred to the spirits that brought him his visions. Although something would happen the moment his words were spoken. His head snapped back in abrupt and swift movement as if something violently struck his entire form. It would have most likely alarmed the woman or it could have just simply caused a curious stare. Kierkan's head would snap forward allowing his face to come in full visage. Something alarming would have changed now. Those once big chestnut hued eyes would now bleed with white. You could see the outline of his pupils but most of it would have been shrouded with white that unveiled a world completely unknown by the mortal race.
Whoosh.
"I will smite this forest. You will pay for your sins against me and my people. I will rise an army to bring my vengeance. Suffer thy wrath and know my revenge is at hand. I will snuff the Von'Dire-Kuldair Galway family and curse thy name forever!"
Kierkan would finally break the hold of the woman's hand and fall backwards in a heap unconscious. Agnes had been watching and seeing this event unfold before her very eyes. When Kierkan was jerked backward at the beginning of this vision, her hand gripped his tightly. She hadn't expected to be drawn into the vision as she reached out with her other hand to steady him. As she did so the telepathic ability she owned would mentally link Kierkan against her wishes with his mind. This gift was new to the mage so the walls of her mind that would normally protect her where not strong enough and she was mentally unprepared for what was to happen. She felt herself falling into the vision sitting beside Kierkan in the vision as it was though she would see through his sight but she was nothing more than by-stander just looking upon the passing vision instead of truly being there. She studied the area as well as she watched the creature speak in volumes toward Kierkan. Her breath exploded from her as the vision was cut short in such a manner. She winced away from Kierkan just as he fell back. She pitched herself forward to lean over him. "Kierkan..can you hear me?!" She asked, the scene itself etched within her memory though for now that had to wait. Her hand lifted to lightly pat his cheek to try and wake him.
The vision had so abruptly begun and so quickly would take its leave. It would shock and throw Kierkan's mind into unrest and sap every ounce of balance he may have possessed. His powers were just so unpredictable and uncontrollable. The male would slowly start to hear the voice of the woman calling to him. Those weary eyes would slowly open again. This time his normal vision would have been returned to him but this time his brown orbs could be seen as the veil to the other world had finally been lifted. Something was wrong though.
Kierkan smacked at his lips a few times as the cooper taste would flood his senses very instinctively. It was blood. Blood was running from his nose and slipping into his mouth. The visions were terrible upon the Antarian. Even though these visions granted him sight, there were still dangerous costs for using it. Lifting slowly, he would gaze at the woman still weak and unable to speak just yet. Not only did the blood cater his face but it pooled like wildfire in the recesses of his brain. Unless he seeks out medical attention, Kierkan would not last long in this world.
Anges remained hovering over him as she watched him. There was a sigh of relief that passed her lips when he opened his eyes. She saw the blood and shifted back a bit to draw the handkerchief from her sleeve. She absently wiped his face off, before taking his hand and putting the handkerchief into it to hold there. "What was that thing?" She asked softly as she remained close to him. Her own mind was still processing it all. While the energy and weight of such a spell as invoked by the vision was taken completely upon himself, her being drawn into it .. hadn't exactly registered fully that, that it hadn't been apart of the spell itself to pull her in. While he regained himself, she kept the handkerchief near his nose, after all blood was gross..and surely didn't wish the man to choke on it .. just..ew. Her other hand reached behind her to the pack and dug out her water flask.
The lone white wolf would make her way to the forest, Latisha muzzle twitching slightly as she smelled a familiar scent not only of the people there but the scent of blood. She let out a low fierce growl as she ran to where the two were. The white wolf dressed fully clad in her full plate mail mithril armour, with the family crest etched upon her breast plate and the fire phoenix engraved in the back in painstaking detail. The body of the armour was in gold, and it was surrounded by white gold flames as if rising from the ashes. She would have her familiar Ixen, a fire phoenix, on her shoulder, and she knelt to Kierkan's side with a look of concern on her face. Latisha knew not what was going on only that her friend that she had briefly before was hurt cause she could smell the blood. She looked to Ixen and gave a low growl and at her command, he flew off her shoulder and circled over him. As soon as the phoenix has done so, ashes would fall from the tail of the phoenix and fall upon the frame of Kierkan Landers from the fire phoenix. The ashes themselves possessed the very power of healing and life coming from the fabled creature. She would heal the wounds he had suffered. Once the phoenix was finished, Ixen would return to Latisha's shoulder and she gave both of them a most curious look. Latisha hadn't the foggiest clue what was going on. "Are you two okay?" She questioned as she spoke in a low gruff growl of a voice.
Even though he had not fully regained his senses yet, he would still shriek and be wary of the growl that was heard in the distance. Kierkan would slightly shift away but before his form could even make it a good distance, he would feel those embers of flame fade to ash and fall upon his face. Terrified at first, those kohl lashes would lightly squeeze shut but something would happen. The feeling that pounded so mercilessly within his mind would finally subside and the blood that catered his lips and nose would finally fall away. Relief would take him as the phoenix had healed his injuries within his mind. Looking upward toward the white wolf, he would know that form and remember that furred creature. He would let out a long breathy sigh before his speech would finally come to him again. "Thank you." His voice raspy and sounded as though he had been speaking for long periods of time. He would gaze upward at Agnes now. "That creature is the one that haunts my dreams." He would say so dejectedly.
Shortly after everything had occurred, Jade would enter in a swirl of shadows and ended up not to far from the trio being a vampire, her first sense would have be drawn and triggered by the smell of blood. She offered a dark tainted smile as she watched the white wolf do her thing, as she gazed toward him when he screamed.
The appearance of the female had brought Agnes to her feet and an absent step between the two. She had no idea who the female was and after that shared vision to say she was a bit protective of a friend in a weakened state was not too far fetched. As Kierkan spoke to her, Agnes stepped away and gave a small nod. The handkerchief was lifted from the forest floor where it had fallen, as she declined in speaking at all right then.
Shadows dissipated from her form now. She could be seen wearing her usual attire. Jade's dark raven black cloak embroidered with alternating gold and silver dragons along the edges, hood was down revealing those hauntingly beautiful elven features. Dark emerald eyes fell on the trio as she watched them with that dark tainted smile on her black lips that no doubt stood out against that pale white skin. She spoke in an eerie voice that would send chills down any human spine. "Off saving the day again, I see, white wolf " She offered the wolf a smirk.
Latisha would look to them both and let out a low friendly growl as she bared her sharp pointy teeth in a wolfish smile trying to look as friendly as the white wolf could. Her tail swishing back and forth behind her, she offered him a clawed paw to help him to his feet as she stood to her own. "You are most welcome." Her gaze drifted to Agnes as she spoke to her now in that low gruff growl of a voice. "I hope I didn't startled you. My name is Latisha "Stormy" Moonstorm, Grand Champion of the Knights of the White Wolf, at your service." A slight bowing of her head given, this holy paladin was not a threat only there to help a friend in need. Then her gaze shifted to Jade as she saw her enter in her usual way returning the same smirk to her that she was offered. "Indeed. And I am sure you are up to no good as usual." Then, her gaze drifted between them all.
The age-old Antarian would shake his head several times as the haunting images still licked at his mind's eye so wickedly staying there burned within Kierkan's sight. It was menacing and it would finally hit him that Agnes would have been a part of that vision as well. It would hurt his heart to know that she would see into the darkness with him. He wished that upon no one but it could not have been help. He knew nothing of other races and other abilities and how they worked other than his and his people's. Brushing the grayish soot from his face left behind by the phoenix, Kierkan would reach for the offered hand. That was no hand though. That was a claw. Kierkan would jerk in response
as he was starting too notice the things around him. He would be frightened for only a moment before he would begrudgingly reach and pull up on the offered paw. Kierkan was still unsure about other species and did not understand but he would get to that soon enough. "How were you able to enter my vision, Agnes?" He would question. He had never in his life shared his gift the way they did a few moments ago.
Agnes inclined her head to Jade as the woman appeared, before the dark eyes flickered toward Latisha as she introduced herself. She spoke softly. The small frown touched her face as she looked at Kierkan. "Was that not apart of your spell?" She asked softly before the young woman looked to the handkerchief and for only a brief moment her hand lit it into flames, rendering the soft cloth into nothing more than ash. Well there were spells that could bind another with a small drop of blood. She would rather it destroyed then risk another by carelessness. It was the marking on the paladin's armor that had reminded Agnes of the same insignia that Damien wore.
Indeed, she wore the insignia of her clan as well that too had been etched into her paladin armour. "Well met, Agnes." She spoke in that low gruff growl of a voice, as her gaze went to Kierkan now. "Are you okay?" She questioned again as her paw he had taken to help him to his feet would fall gracefully to her side. "What is going on here any ways? What are these visions you speak of?" She tilted her head to the side in a most curious fashion, her tail swishing back and forth still behind her. Damien was her second in command. They ran the clan together. Hopefully, one day they will become a guild but that had yet to be seen.
Lurking so seemingly in the background, Jade offered the white wolf a smirk as she looked upon the two that seemed to share a vision. "Visions, huh? Those can be really tricky." She was a master of mental magic herself all the Knights had taught them well.
Still slightly faint from everything that had transpired, Kierkan would slightly lose balance whenever the paw would release him from its hold. He would quickly take hold of it again to steady himself. "It is my fault, woman of wolf knights. I was so eager to learn of the history and cause for this damned forest that I forced a vision to come to me. It would seem the spirit of that passed creature did not wish for me to learn any more. He learned of our presence. It was . . . angry and fierce and very unhappy with me prying. Although . . ." Those curious honey eyes would turn and gaze toward Agnes. "You saw what I did. You saw it as plainly as I did. I was wrong. There is a waterfall located in these woods, hidden under the overgrowth that litters these paths." He would state in such a mysterious tone. He didn't understand it but he knew that she saw it as well. "My powers do not work that way. I am Psion. I am sensitive to the unnatural beings that still linger here. I cannot connect with people as we just did. You had to have tapped into something that not even my power can." Enraptured stare would cater those hues of brown toward Agnes now so confused by her very nature.
Agnes was simply looking down as she replayed the vision again in her mind. The creature had been frightening, that was true..however it did not effect her the same way it effected Kierkan. Then again, it was as if she hadn't been acknowledged by it at all. This was likely an excellent thing. She slowly lifted her eyes to look at him. "Psionics is not my primary craft." She reminded him. She absently tapped her lips with a finger as she considered it all. "There are a great many different evils within these lands..it is the reason for most of our arrivals here, was it not?" She lifted a brow and let her eyes travel from one to the next of the three companions. "If to right the wrongs or merely exploration of their inhabitance." Agnes had no way to explain exactly why she had been able to ghost along with Kierkan in his vision; well not yet, anyway. She pursed her lips a moment then held up a hand as she moved back to the stone that she had been seated on before and withdrew the journal as well as a stylus for writing. She fell completely silent as she began to write quickly all that she had seen within the vision itself. There was of course a reason, but that would be revealed in a moment.
Latisha would help Kierkan stabilize himself as she gladly let him hold on to her and she moved so she stood now behind him. She would catch him easily if he lost his balance. The 6'0" lycan that she was would speak in that low growl of a gruff voice with a wisdom that only comes with one that has been around as long as she. "It is not wise to rush things faster then they are naturally supposed to occur. It has grave consequences to force something that is not ready to be revealed." Her words trailed off as she pondered things.
Jade looked to him and then to Agnes. "Indeed, you should not force visions." She actually agreed with the white wolf, which was rare as they came from opposing ends of the spectrum.
Tears would start to well within his eyes as Kierkan would appreciate the wisdom dearly but at the moment he wasn't in such a thankful mood. "I wish it were that simple but I had to do something. These visions are like viruses. Unless they are allowed to run their course, they do not stop. Until the fayth have guided me to what I need to see, they haunt my dreams, my days, my eyes. I see them out of the corner of my eye. When my eyes shut as well. These visions want to be heard and I cannot deny them that. When a dead soul clings to my soul, it does not let go until I help he or she move on. This creature is extremely powerful and extremely dark and clever. I don't know what it wants, but it stated the lady of these lands that brought us together. What was her name again?" He would furiously question himself stomping at his failed memory. He was speaking of Emmarie.
The soft sound of her tearing the pages from the book as she closed it and tucked it away as she looked up. "Lady Emmarie." She stated softly as she listened to the others speak of not rushing the visions..but Agnes had a far different view of all this. Hers was completely academic. Frightening in that though, no? She set the pages down as she closed her eyes a moment to draw upon the internal core of magic within herself then released the spell that rested within her mind. The pages took on a soft glow as the image they had witnessed rose around them. Not the demon that had been controlling it but the landscape...the area in which they had seen the cursed creature. Bones littered the ground and the waterfall that Kierkan spoke of was now in sight. The illusion overlaid the area around them, while the massive trees were still seen..the illusion was somewhat lighter; ghostly in its own right "This...is the location in which we seek." She stated quietly.
Latisha nodded to Agnes. "I have seen that place before." She tried to remember when as she had been around for so long, all her memories kind of meshed together now. She had seen so many waterfalls that she couldn't quite place it, but it did look very familiar to her.
A dark tinted smile would rise upon Jade's face as she looked to Kierkan and offered that devilish smile toward Kierkan. "I can help you with that, and make your visions stop so they do not haunt you night and day. I used to have the same problem until moon showed me how to control the visions that I see. Now, I only see them when I want too." Her voice was chilling as ever.
Kierkan would look with hopeful eyes at Jade as he would have wanted to run over and kiss her for saying such the sweetest and amazing words. To live a life without these cruel thoughts and memories of others distant from the physical world. He really wished he could but he knew he couldn't. If he would only tap into the visions when he felt the need, he would miss the people that needed guidance and he would no longer be able to help those souls who were trapped between worlds. As much as he wanted to living a normal life, he could not. He felt an obligation to these souls and their feelings would attach to him and become his own. He was too far into this to suppress it. "Thank you, Just Jade, for your kind words, but unfortunately, I cannot block these visions from coming to pass. I believe that nothing is ever given to us that we cannot handle. These visions were given to me for a reason and until I learn that reason, I cannot do anything to suppress the voices of the dead." Those eyes would be disheartened by his morale character would shine even though at his own misfortune. It was the truth of the matter. He then suddenly gazed toward Agnes as her magical talents had been exposed and shown to him. She had managed to remember the vision clearly and use her magicks to show the area in which they seek. "That is it! That is the place I see every night!" It was such a relief because only seeing it in his mind and not be able to know its existence was like torch for the immortal boy.
The mage gave a small slow nod as Agnes listened to the others talk. The glance was given to the knight as she gave a small slow nod as Kierkan identified the location as well. "It is not the dead that should concern you, Kierkan, but the creature that spoke to you, it was after all the one that made such terrifying claims and lashed out at you." She responded softly as she turned in a slow circle to take in the details. However, the illusion would not last long..they rarely did. "We first must obtain a map of the lands from the Lady Emmarie, or if anyone else has a copy of it. The logical way to address this would be to quarter off areas, then began to search them methodically."
Latisha nodded to Agnes. "Indeed, we should get all that we can together for this. That creature sounds like something to be wary of." Her voice was a low growl as she moved about with her tail swishing behind her.
Jade looked to him and smiled only that dark tainted smile. "You would still be aware of all the spirits that need help. You just don't have to hear them all the time....but that is up to you if you want to hear those damned voice all the time that is fine with me." She smirked at the prospect of facing undead things as she was a necromancer. They were her specialty.
A few more intakes of breathe were pulled in and pushed out quickly as Kierkan would finally gain his barrings. He would release the wolf from his clutches and stand on his own according for the first time since the powerful vision had so cruelly taken his mind for a ride. "Alright. It is settled. Darkness comes and it will be too hard to search in the dark for the waterfall. I suggested we wait until tomorrow's life to see where we are going. I will travel to Lady Emmarie's keep to get a copy of the map of the forest so we may search out what we seek. I do not wish anyone to be put into danger so I will understand fully if you wish not to precede any further with whole situation. I would not be offended in the least." He would state as he looked to the others now.
Agnes gave a small nod. "We shall see what the lady says." She bent to pick up the pages once again. The writing that had been upon them were gone now. "I hope you all forgive me..but I fear I must sleep." She stated quietly and set off to her room within the keep.
Latisha would look to him and smiled as she unsheathed her sword and knelt in front of him. "You have my sword." She planted the tip of her sword in the ground as she said this with a slight bow of her head being given to him.
Jade offered him a smirk. "Me pass up the chance to play with darkness? I think not! I will come with you on this adventure" She spoke in that chilling voice of hers
Kierkan would gaze strangely toward Jade at her odd way of showing her commitment was stated. He would simply shake his head with concern for a moment and then shrug the feelings from his mind. "Thank you, both. Maybe, we can finally get to the bottom of this evil forest. Until then, I take my leave. I will contact you after I have spoken with Lady Emmarie." He would state before turning towards the path that lead back to the Magi Tower.
Latisha would disappear into the forest now after she had accepted the journey while Jade would stand there alone smiling. She confirmed as he was walking away. "I shall be here." Then, the shadows consumed her form and she vanished leaving no trace of her behind.
