Halo of Noire: Setting: Yule Season, a season that Emma adores. But, Emma
loves all holidays, even making up her own holidays to celebrate. Though,
tonight she is nowhere to be seen. No where in the keep it seems.
Halo of Noire: But that does not keep the cooks from making food as they do
each day, nor does it keep the massive tree from standing in the hall,
covered in ornaments and fairy lights, and even moving around a bit
Halo of Noire: as Emma gave it feet so it could go back to the forest when
it's job was done! And so, it seems to be a normal night at the keep. Fires
blazing, drinks and food available, candles lighting up every
Halo of Noire: window. The adventurers could be in various places in the
keep from their rooms, to the hall relaxing, library, eating in the kitchen
it matters not. (Begin RP)
Flight of Arrows: Well, the archer was certainly already loaded down with
food and drink, staying in the kitchen where she'd be close to more food and
drink. It was never a bad idea to stick close to the cooks. She probably
already knew every
Flight of Arrows: cook's name, and they knew that she liked to eat... a lot.
(d)
DragonLightMage: And as promiced Darien would, when Emma was found have his
mistletoe and kiss her cheek, there now he was mistletoed out, got her before
she could, he then waved to those entering with him as he'd smile and look to
see who was
Halo of Noire: Emma was not there.
x Silver Heat x: Akito had arrived at the keep in order to do some personal
research in the library and so there he sat quietly in a large wing-backed
chair with a book in his lap, reading intently on whatever subject the book
held.
damnable reverie: - she had been in her room. most of the afternoon was
spent with her painting or playing music. after she painted a while she took
a swim in the icey stream and came back just so she could play and relax a
bit with Lithel. they
DragonLightMage: there, Emma vanished! She wasnt here she wasnt at any other
grounds aaaaaah!!!! She ran away with the tree.
damnable reverie: had been talking a while now kind of chit chatting about a
few things and right now the topic was pudding. - "it was good. hot. put
cream.. stuff on.. it." - she said it as she was trying to describe it which
caused her to think
damnable reverie: back about the dish. - "whip cream. was good too." -
she thought she could eat it by itself and not have too much bad to say about
it! -
DragonLightMage: Mmm Pudding, hmm, well today he was going to have some hot
cocoa as of now and just relax a little, not much going on at the moment
around either parts of the world, hasnt even seen many strange things going
on as of late.
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel couldn't help but lift his brow a bit at the
mention of a cream...A whipped cream? Oh yes, he'd seen that. Never having it
himself though. Yet it still seemed odd to have on rice pudding. Shrugging to
that though he would
TarnishedWarlord: reach over, his hand softly petting against the side of
that puppy in her lap while he looked back to Winter. "I've not seen you
dislike the taste of anything yet." Well it was true, he wasn't trying to
judge her sense of taste, or
TarnishedWarlord: judge her in anyway. It was more a simple comment to keep
the conversation going.
Flight of Arrows: At least when she emerged from the kitchens, the only
thing left was an apple that she was crunching on. Her flat belly was
feeling rather stuffed, however, and she was certain that she wouldn't have
to try very hard to be dozing
damnable reverie: - she could comment but it might make him blush and people
wonder about him. the dog leaned his head into Lithel's hand, and set the
long sad looking eyes at him. the hound just had one of those looks that was
like 'im a sound
x Silver Heat x: Page flipped, as jaded orbs continued to read the contents
of his book. The quiet of the library was nice enough, and a sigh escaped a
bit.
Halo of Noire: Melantha wandered into the hall from outside, shaking the
snow from her as she pounded her boots against the stone floor. Cloak, that
bore the gift from Emmarie as the cloak clasp, was pulled off of her and hung
on the rack nearby.
damnable reverie: hounddog' which is why she liked the dog in the first
place. - "I do not like things... i tasted spice i do not like. taste like
dirt.. not the good dirt. the sand dirt." - there was a diffrence in dirt
taste if they tasted
Flight of Arrows: in front of the fire. Pantlegs swished and boots tapped,
and the gangly gal moved down a hallway, beaded braids clicking together with
an almost musical sound. (d)
Halo of Noire: Her hair was a bit messy but a few pats caused the jet black
strands to fall into place. Knitted sweater clung to her upper body, and
black leather trousers were on her bottom half. The gloves on her hands were
pulled off and
damnable reverie: enough of them. but really, how many of them tasted dirt
as regularlly as she did? - 'i do not like.. fried.. potattoo.. things..."
- she did not like some things, they just hadn't servered her enough food for
her to find
Halo of Noire: tucked into the pockets of her cloak. She glanced around, to
see who was in the main hall, if anyone.
damnable reverie: something she didn't like here! -
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel offered a small chuckle from her listing off a few
things that she didn't like. That hand of his continued to pet down the back
of the puppys head, even as it came to rest on his lap. His eyes thought
never left Winter,
Flight of Arrows: Green eyes spied Melantha as Wing also arrived in the main
hall, chewing away on her apple. Her empty hand was raised in greeting, and
a smile broke out on her freckled face. "Cold out there, eh?" (d)
TarnishedWarlord: finding it rude to not face a person you were conversing
with. "I see. At least you don't enjoy the taste of everything. It could end
up being rather bad in the long run." After all, eating to much was never
good. Just ask the poor
TarnishedWarlord: puppy.
FeraIPrince: Suddenly there was a terrible sound that thundered within the
main room of the Hall. Something terrible and terrifying all at the same
time. It sounded like the heavens themselves tore upon to release those
chaotic spirits from the
FeraIPrince: beyond. Furniture, occupied or not, jerked away from the noise.
A flash like lightning filled the vision of those within, a dark shape
whipping across the room. The sound of splintering wood could be heard upon
impact. The body
FeraIPrince: slumping to the floor with a low groan. One bloodied hand
reaching up to grab the back of the couch, claws blending back down into
fingernail. Slowly, ever so slowly, a shaking form of William came to stand.
Clothing in tatters,
FeraIPrince: his flesh ripped wide and bleeding closing by unseen hands.
Those wide azure eyes taking in those around him, a pained smile coming to
his features. "Ah........such better company...."
damnable reverie: - she wouldn't think it was rude but again she wasn't one
of the more normal people there. standing up she shifted the puppy to the
couch then offered a hand to him to see if he wanted to come with her. -
"Mead?" - she wanted to
damnable reverie: go to the kitchen for a glass of it andfigured she would
offer him one or to come with her too. it would give them a reason to get
out of her bedroom too so they weren't as antisocial as they were seeming to
be for the time
damnable reverie: being. -
Halo of Noire: "Sure is." She agreed wholeheartedly and moved further into
the room though stopped as she heard the thundering sound that echoed in the
massive great hall. She moved quickly in almost a skitter towards the wall as
furniture moved
Halo of Noire: away from the action. The flash of lightning had her
shielding her eyes, then she blinked as William quite tattered and torn
landed on the floor of the hall. She rushed forward, wrapping an arm around
his waist to help him stand
Halo of Noire: with her brow furrowed and a frown upon her lips. "What the
hell happened to you?" Said almost...just almost accusingly towards him
though that was just how she was when something she actually cared about was
in trouble, she cared
Halo of Noire: truly cared for so little. She helped him to the chair he
liked so much and down to sit, then stood beside the chair running her hand
along the back of his hair.
Flight of Arrows: Blinded by the light, Wing raised a hand protectively in
front of her face, quite startled by the scary sounds. When she could see
again, she was frowning at the sight of William. "What got hold of you?"
Her legs had spread wide
TarnishedWarlord: Looking to the offered hand Lithel would reach out,
placing his hand into it before he stood up and shook his head some. "No
thank you, though I will join you." Well he didn't like mead, but that didn't
matter, it was her room, and
Flight of Arrows: in order to maintain her balance, and yet she still found
herself down on one knee, her unoccupied hand firmly planted on the floor.
She gave a look around, as if expecting something/someone to have followed
him, and then she was
Halo of Noire: As she stroked his hair she noticed something shining and
lowering herself, a sliver of something ....silver...was removed from his
body where the blood and flesh was not mending. "Damnit all someone's trying
to kill you William"
Flight of Arrows: pushing herself back up. A quick inspection of the apple
told her that it was still edible, and she breathed a sigh of relief. (d)
Halo of Noire: She held up the sliver of silver and looked at it a moment,
then tossed it into the hearth.
TarnishedWarlord: it wouldn't be right for him to be hanging around inside
of it without her. Letting her lead the way he would smile just a bit. His
eyes cast one last time back to the paintings that she had done, then back to
her. "What is your
TarnishedWarlord: attraction to mead?" Well he didn't understand it really,
it clouded the mind and made it harder to properly think.
DragonLightMage: "Wing welcome back, and merry late soltice, blinded by the
light is now in his head as he'd now get up to look around and now get
another hot cocoa in the kitchen, waved to those in the kitchen and smiled as
he went back to sit down
FeraIPrince: Seeing Wing begin to grow cautious, he raised a hand and gave a
soft dismissive gesture. "Rest easy, Wing. Nothing followed me, I assure
you." He hissed violently and his body arched slightly as the silver was
drawn from his
OnlineHost: x Silver Heat x has left the room.
FeraIPrince: flesh. Those pupils, thin slits of obsidian burning in pools of
frost and ice. Words were less cordial more harsh as he looked over at
Melantha. "It would appear as such. Though I am not exactly in shock." He
snapped his mouth
FeraIPrince: closed stopping any other words from escaping. Looking down at
his clothing, even grabbing parts of it with both hands and holding it out.
"Damn that thing....this was pure silk."
Flight of Arrows: Though she did trust that he would know, she wasn't quite
free of worry, and she moved toward William and Melantha, frowning. "So...
someone tries to kill you and it's to be expected?" Glance paid to Mela.
"That can't be good."
Flight of Arrows: (d)
damnable reverie: - she would not care if he kept in her room without her.
her room was never locked as she had a trust for people. there was only one
thing she kept lock and that was hidden in a pannel she slide away and it was
placed in a small
Halo of Noire: A glare was shot to Darien and his mirthful smile seemingly
not even knowing anything was going on around him. But, now that the silver
was retrieved out of William's flesh he could now heal. She stroked his head,
then again and had
damnable reverie: box. as his hand came to hers, she let the digitis curl
around ihis own, holding it as she turned to leave. something he could
notice about the paintings as they went to leave was the fact that the leaves
and flower buds seemed
Halo of Noire: to hide a smirk as he was more worried about his silk garment
than the fact that something silver had been buried within him. "We can
replace it."
damnable reverie: to form a second picture from another angle. no matter
how you looked at the picture it would seem they formed a diffrent view
thanks to the shadows and highlights she placed on them. she kept his hand
if he didn't move it as she
damnable reverie: went to the hallway. - "mead.. honey.. honey.. bees..
bees.. flowers.. flowers.. plants.. trees.. forest.. outside... taste sweet
too.." - it was a reminder of things. -
Halo of Noire: As if the flash of lightning and clap of thunder from
William's entrance weren't enough to cause a bit of fear in the keep, the
thing that happened next would perhaps do it. There was a massive strike of
lightning across the winter
Halo of Noire: sky outside, so bright it shone in every window like the sun
had risen and so loud that things upon tables and and walls rattled and
perhaps some fell and broke. The keep was a massive manor though, no walls
broke down or anything
Halo of Noire: of that sort but it was enough to draw attention. Then,
suddenly as the lightning faded all went dark. Every fire in every room of
the keep went out. All lamps died. All candles were snuffed. The entire keep
and surrounding area
Halo of Noire: went dark as if electricity had been cut in a modern world.
OnlineHost: Hiberna basium has entered the room.
DragonLightMage: Where is everyone, he did not know whos in what room now.
He's a little sleepy and still thinking about who he saw last night too, and
now almost dropping his cocoa with the lightning...lightning in Winter? Hmm
that happened once ..
Flight of Arrows: Well, that time she nearly dropped her apple, fumbling it
around for a moment before catching it in deft fingers... but then complete
darkness hit, and the bit of fruit was lost, thudding on the floor. Wing
cursed, unable to see a
DragonLightMage: but now he was more aware "Hey everyone ok? where is
everyone?" Tried holding a fireball to see.
Flight of Arrows: thing. (d)

damnable reverie: -no great balls of fire. -
DragonLightMage: hmm dont seem to work today...
FeraIPrince: William and his ilk, had an ability to see in perfect darkness.
Those hands holding his tattered shirt gave a savage jerk, ripping it from
his body. Those toned muscle flexing and coiling in a perfect unison. He had
the look of a
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel followed her down the stairs, just sort of there.
He seemed to be deep in thought or something as he wasn't really there.
Halo of Noire: As the servants rushed to relight the fires and candles, no
matter how hard they tried they would fail. It would flicker, act like it was
catching then go out. Like one of those trick birthday candles that would
blow out, come on,
Halo of Noire: go out again. But after much trying the would manage to get
at least the hearth relit though it was only a small fire for now.
DragonLightMage: "What is going on? Storm?" Looked outside.
Halo of Noire: (If everyone would please list your rank and dice please)
FeraIPrince: living statue, carved and sculpted rather than born and bred.
His entire body working in such unison it was poetry, living poetry. looking
over to Melantha he gave a nod before speaking aloud. "This was not my
doing, nor a result
DragonLightMage: Darien Baronstar Abet'zi Champion - 2d40
FeraIPrince: of my actions." Rolling those shoulders to loosen the joints
and tendons beneath that soft flesh, he took another glance towards the
windows. "Not something of this realm."

Halo of Noire: As it went dark, she glanced around with a furrowed brow. She
could see in dark just fine, in fact she preferred the dark to light but she
knew this was not something to take lightly. There was just something...odd
in the air.
damnable reverie: - there was the lightning strike which caused her to give
a little sqeal out. by happy it didn't mean a blast. she dropped lithel's
hand now and looked around trying to figure out what it was. she became sad
for a moment as she
Halo of Noire: Perhaps the huge strike of lightning had done it. And now
nothing would light it seemed. Her hand dropped from stroking the back of
William's head as she moved to the window and pushed the curtains aside to
look out and see what she
damnable reverie: looked back. - "hope.. it did not.. hit.. a tree." -
that was her first cosern for the things as she was becoming friends with
some of the local ones. now since the bit of shock was over she took his

DragonLightMage: "Magic don't work well either..." Hm,...
Halo of Noire: Indeed, it did hit a tree. There was a massive cracking sound
and then the rush of something huge then a THUD outside the keep's main door.
DragonLightMage: Phewy, well maybe if he tried a small fireball to keep by
his side and float with his true dice, small firesphere was attempted to be
summoned near him but not touching anything.
FeraIPrince: William took stock of those within, they were those his mother
cared for. The one he cared for. Snarling he ran towards one of the front
windows, leaping out over the chair before it. Arms crossed over his face as
he crashed through

DragonLightMage: "Hi there, now no burning anything you" Pet pet.
Flight of Arrows: Her eyes did eventually adjust a little, but it was more a
matter of guesswork that had her inching closer to the window where the
curtain had been drawn away. "What do you think has happened?" Said to
Melantha... or at least she
OnlineHost: johurapa has entered the room.
Flight of Arrows: hoped Melantha was still there. (d)
damnable reverie: - she heard the cracking then that thud sound which had
her making a loud gasp of a sound at the noise and what she heard with it.
she closed her eyes tightly and froze in place when she heard the voice.
deep breath was taken and
Halo of Noire: That surprised the hell out of Mela as William jumped right
through the window, but it told her something was not right. She didn't even
bother to grab her cloak or gloves, but pulled open the front door and rushed
out to see what
damnable reverie: she was dropping Lithel's hand again to move herself
towards the door. she wasn't going to just let it go mind you, she needed to
see if they could possiable sae that tree itself. maybe if they were lucky
it was just a branch that
Halo of Noire: was going on outside, even as a dagger was tugged out. "I
don't know, let's go see." She said to Wing, as the door swung open and
remained that way.
damnable reverie: had fallen? -
johurapa: It was not a branch, it was a massive oak tree that had fallen.
Still burning from the strike of lightning the tree had narrowly missed
hitting the keep and now lay across the front carriage drive of the keep.
Splintered about 7
johurapa: feet up, this tree had been there for ages and now the ancient oak
had fallen. Seemingly an act of the gods had torn this tree down. Those that
could year the forest within them would hear the sorrowful mourning tone of
the dying
TarnishedWarlord: Poor tree. Lithel would flinch a bit at the sudden flash
of light. Obviously pulled from his daze by it. Though when he saw Winter
looking so sad, and going for that tree he would pout some himself. He didn't
like seeing his friends
TarnishedWarlord: upset. Following her, he would see that tree broken and
burning. Knowing how much Winter liked the trees, but not why, he would reach
out to place a hand gently against her shoulder as if to try and comfort her
some.
TarnishedWarlord: -d-
DragonLightMage: Followed and had his little summoned pet, who seemed to be
shaking some, growing sorta dim as it neared the doorway. Then seeing the
fire it seemed to take the flames from it into itself and grow a little. Then
It went back by Dar-
DragonLightMage: ien.
johurapa: tree. Though, that was the least of their worries. There were two
creatures ripping the tree with tooth and fang. Massive beasts of a golden
fur color, like wolves on all fours, but with gaping toothy maws dripping of
black liquid.
Flight of Arrows: Her own hand grabbed the knife that she kept close, though
she really wished for time to go get her bow. Once outside, visibility
increased, and she felt better about following without falling over her own
feet. The sight of the
johurapa: They stood on their hind legs ripping huge chunks of the tree
apart, which only made the tree cry louder. The very essence of the tree was
being sucked up by these golden beasts. As William jumped out the window
their blazing white
Flight of Arrows: massive tree was one thing, for it was simply an
impressive thing to behold. The sight of those strange creatures, however,
was quite a different story. Wing really wished that she had her favored
weapon now. (d)
johurapa: eyes turned towards him and what could only be termed a howling
occured, though it sounded like a thunder clap.
DragonLightMage: The Firesphere hissed and Darien growled at the things, of
all possible predicaments....
FeraIPrince: Without ever thinking about what was to come of him, what these
beasts might wish to do, he gave himself over. Leaping forwards he let the
rest of the shift take him. The man may have departed the earth, but what
touched down was
johurapa: Standing on their hind legs these beings were a good 8 feet tall.
damnable reverie: - she knew what had happened to the tree even before she
came out. she knew it had crashed and seeing the evidence of it made her
want to cry. that was a nice tree she had been starting to know and now it
was lay there drying at
FeraIPrince: nothing kless than the purest of feral beasts. Massive muscle
groups shifting beneath thick fur, fangs as long and sharp as shortswords
glistened as the saber-toothed feline moved forwards. His own terrible roar
rolling out from him
damnable reverie: the cause of those lighting. the ripping and chewing
sounds was what was really getting to her. now she was mad at the beast
things for attacking her friends. - "Get off!" - she actually demanded the
creatures to do something, in
FeraIPrince: to crash down upon those beasts. He would meet them in the
muddied ground, and make them pay in blood for their crimes against the tree.
damnable reverie: a very angry tone. something most had not even see her
get before, much less demand something from some other creatures. -
johurapa: Both of the creatures turned their attention upon those that were
coming out of the building, in fact even if they had not removed themselves
from the building the attack of these odd creatures would hit all, from the
servants to
johurapa: cooks to everyone. The eyes were light white flames staring at
Winter and Mela, and the saber tooth, and Wing... and in unison they both let
out an ear splitting howl that sounded like a thunderclap like no other,
filling their

drive them insane. (s/a sbo)

FeraIPrince: William had taken this shattered tree and simply replaced it
with......itself. Though, quite obviously, with itself from a split second

Halo of Noire: enough to hear such a thing. To those without, perhaps they

FeraIPrince: as well. Damn the luck."
Halo of Noire: Mela fell backwards to her rear end, rubbing her head, as the

Flight of Arrows: And of course, seeing a healthy happy tree had her

apple tree, but that poor piece of fruit was still laying on the floor in the
hall somewhere. How sad. (d)
Halo of Noire: druid or ranger or anything of the sort, but the sorrow of
the tree had been annoying in her mind. Now it was all fixed. She offered a

softer smile. Allowing

Halo of Noire: But that does not keep the cooks from making food as they do
each day, nor does it keep the massive tree from standing in the hall,
covered in ornaments and fairy lights, and even moving around a bit
Halo of Noire: as Emma gave it feet so it could go back to the forest when

keep from their rooms, to the hall relaxing, library, eating in the kitchen
it matters not. (Begin RP)
Flight of Arrows: Well, the archer was certainly already loaded down with
food and drink, staying in the kitchen where she'd be close to more food and
drink. It was never a bad idea to stick close to the cooks. She probably
already knew every

Halo of Noire: Emma was not there.
x Silver Heat x: Akito had arrived at the keep in order to do some personal

damnable reverie: had been talking a while now kind of chit chatting about a

damnable reverie: back about the dish. - "whip cream. was good too." -
she thought she could eat it by itself and not have too much bad to say about

Her flat belly was
feeling rather stuffed, however, and she was certain that she wouldn't have
to try very hard to be dozing
damnable reverie: - she could comment but it might make him blush and people

x Silver Heat x: Page flipped, as jaded orbs continued to read the contents
of his book.

Flight of Arrows: in front of the fire. Pantlegs swished and boots tapped,

an almost musical sound.

FeraIPrince: slumping to the floor with a low groan. One bloodied hand
reaching up to grab the back of the couch, claws blending back down into

FeraIPrince: his flesh ripped wide and bleeding closing by unseen hands.
Those wide azure eyes taking in those around him, a pained smile coming to

damnable reverie: - she wouldn't think it was rude but again she wasn't one
of the more normal people there. standing up she shifted the puppy to the
couch then offered a hand to him to see if he wanted to come with her. -
"Mead?" - she wanted to

Halo of Noire: "Sure is." She agreed wholeheartedly and moved further into
the room though stopped as she heard the thundering sound that echoed in the
massive great hall. She moved quickly in almost a skitter towards the wall as
furniture moved
Halo of Noire: away from the action. The flash of lightning had her
shielding her eyes, then she blinked as William quite tattered and torn
landed on the floor of the hall. She rushed forward, wrapping an arm around
his waist to help him stand
Halo of Noire: with her brow furrowed and a frown upon her lips. "What the

Halo of Noire: truly cared for so little. She helped him to the chair he

Halo of Noire: As if the flash of lightning and clap of thunder from
William's entrance weren't enough to cause a bit of fear in the keep, the
thing that happened next would perhaps do it. There was a massive strike of
lightning across the winter
Halo of Noire: sky outside, so bright it shone in every window like the sun
had risen and so loud that things upon tables and and walls rattled and
perhaps some fell and broke. The keep was a massive manor though, no walls

suddenly as the lightning faded all went dark. Every fire in every room of

He didn't

Halo of Noire: Wing-
Flight of Arrows: Wing was nimble as an antelope tonight, and she was
thanking whatever gods were watching over her. Another slash of the knife
was attempted as the thing passed, beaded braids slung wide with her
movements. (d)

great pain in her head. "Hmm?"

DragonLightMage: Has her drink her potion?
Halo of Noire: She ain't dead, calm down.
DragonLightMage: This is no time to panic. Huff huff huff
damnable reverie: - don't worry they brought a towel-
Flight of Arrows: Looking around, Wing realized that she was the only one to
pass unscathed. It was weird. (d)
johurapa: With a final horrible thunderous roar, the second golden beast
would fall in a spurt of golden blood showering those around it. The golden
blood that hit the ground would form gold coins around them. The black liquid
like tar seeped
johurapa: from it's mouth and the white light in it's eyes went out. The
first carcass was unusable but this one could be skinned and saved.

Flight of Arrows: The archer pocketed three coins. (d)
damnable reverie: - she pulled away from the battle and placed her hand onto
the tree to support herself. looking over to the tree she sat her hand on
it. she was looking to the door tree, the head tilted to the side as she

painful mourning cry of the dying tree.
Halo of Noire: 7 for Winter
OnlineHost: DragonLightMage rolled 2 5-sided dice: 5 5
Halo of Noire: 10 for Darien
johurapa: The gold coins had an odd rune inscribed upon each one, not of any
normal language or runic works, nor of the arcane. Simply, alien.
damnable reverie: - her head tilted to the side as she looked to the tree
and hearing the cries. lids closed as she just ran her hand back and forth
along it trying to comfort it. -
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel moved now, huffing from the battle he then cleaned
off those kama of his on his shirt. Once they were cleaned he slid them back
into their sheaths behind his back, under said shirt. Looking around to the
others now he would
OnlineHost: FeraIPrince rolled 2 5-sided dice: 5 2
Halo of Noire: Hand lifted to rub the side of her head, her hair was sticky
from the drying blood. The coins were tucked into the pockets of her trousers
and she rolled over to crawl near Winter to look at the tree. "I can hear it
crying."
Halo of Noire: 7 for William
OnlineHost: FeraIPrince rolled 1 48-sided die: 8
TarnishedWarlord: then frown more.
FeraIPrince: William prowled over towards the dying tree, his attempt at
trying to muffle it's cries for death having failed. So he went for a
different path. Closing those eyes as he stood before the remains he dug
deeply into himself, reaching
FeraIPrince: back for the core of himself. Hoping, that even in this time of
exhaustion, he could seek out the core of what he wished.
Halo of Noire: The fallen oak was not fully dead yet. But the beings had
drawn quite a bit of it's life. It was an ancient creature and had been there
far before the keep had ever been built.
DragonLightMage: Hmm, ok lets see Alien coins, Winter got second most cause
they were shiney and Darien sighed,...wishng he could help more as an elf ,
though he did kneel trying to sooth it maybe with a sprout of life?
OnlineHost: FeraIPrince rolled 1 48-sided die: 9
OnlineHost: DragonLightMage rolled 1 44-sided die: 35
Halo of Noire: (don't forget you have to have these spells listed on your
dossier darien mun)
DragonLightMage: cant learn more?
DragonLightMage: ((*)
Halo of Noire: (yes but they still have to be listed as you learn more)
Flight of Arrows: Knowing better than to interfere, Wing simply stood back
and let them do their thing. (d)
OnlineHost: TarnishedWarlord rolled 1 48-sided die: 34
damnable reverie: - she closed her eyes as she ran her hand on it, her head
tilted down as she closed her eyes. - "they do it.. " - she said it softly
to mela with that one. easy to tell she was sad for the tree. her hand
didn't move from it while
FeraIPrince: Shifting back to homid William looked down at his hands if if
the answer was slipping away. "For the love of those above and below...."
He silently cussed at himself and shook his head, extending an arm, one
outside edge of a
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel would see the others try to comfort the fallen
tree. He wasn't able to do much, but he thought it would be easier to help
if the fires ont he tree were no longer burning. His hands would extend
outward, sending a small
DragonLightMage: (still got room to learn i'll list) Felt energy flow
through to the being, Flora Growth was flowing though into the tree hopefully
helping.
FeraIPrince: raven hued brow arched, and he simply snapped. Nothing fancy,
nothing spectacular, just.....snap.
OnlineHost: FeraIPrince rolled 1 48-sided die: 36
TarnishedWarlord: spalsh of water across the flames and bark. Once done he
offered a very gentle smile, sense atleast he could say that he did help
some.
damnable reverie: it was in this state. it needed a friend really deep
breath came from her as she stroked it. - "they speak.. they have
children.. " - which would be something she would make sure of would happen
with this poor tree once it's pain
damnable reverie: was over. -
FeraIPrince: Well just as expected, the spell was not pretty, but it did
what it had to do. Though at this level it was rather odd. After all, how
often did one see a tree sized wooden cabinet? Let alone one that opened and
the remains of the
Halo of Noire: The issue at hand was that the tree had cracked and fallen
over. The root was half out of the ground but it had been burned and broken.
This tree had many children, oaks did that sort of thing with acorns. In fact
all the oaks
Halo of Noire: around could be heard crying for their father, grandfather,
great-grandfather onwards. Though all grew silent as William's spell began to
take effect.
FeraIPrince: tree were sucked into. The door slaming shut, and opening as
the very tree that had been standing, then laying, now standing again,
stepped out from said cabinet and rooted itself back into place. Chronomancy
was a delightful thing.
FeraIPrince: Especially when coupled with perhaps a trifle more illusion
than was needed.
FeraIPrince: [spell was listed long before this adventure]
Halo of Noire: (spell name for record?)
FeraIPrince: [The Wardrobe]
Halo of Noire: (yeah guys remember, if it's not listed before the adventure
starts, it doesn't count for the adventure. Just keep that in mind.)
Halo of Noire: (ok)
FeraIPrince: [Yeah that is in the message board info.]
Halo of Noire: And, in an odd turn of events, the tree through the
deviousness of William, was now standing. Not only did the silence end as
soon as the tree was rooted back in place, the sound of trees laughing would
be heard by those sensitive
FeraIPrince: William had taken this shattered tree and simply replaced it
with......itself. Though, quite obviously, with itself from a split second
before those golden devils had tore it asunder. This living thing having no
trace of the attack,
Halo of Noire: enough to hear such a thing. To those without, perhaps they
would here the rustling of the wind through the leafless branches as the
forest around them came to life.
FeraIPrince: nor a memory of it. With that cheshire grin he turned to Winter
and chuckled. "There you are Lady Winter. all set to rights." Looking
down at his still ruined trousers he gave a slight sigh. "Should have
thrown the trousers in
FeraIPrince: as well. Damn the luck."
Halo of Noire: Mela fell backwards to her rear end, rubbing her head, as the
cabinet swallowed the tree and it was now standing. Looking upwards at the
ancient tree, she smiled. She was not one to usually care so much about
nature, she was no
Flight of Arrows: And of course, seeing a healthy happy tree had her
thinking about one thing: the apple she dropped. Oh, sure, it wasn't an
apple tree, but that poor piece of fruit was still laying on the floor in the
hall somewhere. How sad. (d)
Halo of Noire: druid or ranger or anything of the sort, but the sorrow of
the tree had been annoying in her mind. Now it was all fixed. She offered a
smile to William reserved for him alone, as she slowly stood. "Nicely done."
She moved slowly
Halo of Noire: towards the fallen creature and fell to one knee. Like hell
was she going to let golden fur go to waste. She began skinning it.
DragonLightMage: Heh well alls well that ends well, he had the spell in his
mind now, and though it was not needed he was ready for any heart plant along
thier travels.
DragonLightMage: (hurt*)
damnable reverie: - she did infact hear the others and stand back a second
feeling the flux of magic. too much of it in one place oftenleft her
being... odder than normal. oh yes she could be odder than she normally was.
she opened her mouth as
damnable reverie: the tree was replaced and much less by itself. she
couldn't help but to cheer at the magic that was shown, and the life of the
tree in front of her. arms came out and went around the tree to hug it as it
was replaced back to it's
damnable reverie: normal stance. she even put her forehead aginst it as she
embraced the tree, go go gadget happy hippy tree huger! -
DragonLightMage: Just smiled, what are we going to do with you Winter, heh
almost sounded like an ending of an episode of something.
Halo of Noire: William 9/24 | Darien 2/22 | Wing 0/14 | Lithel 3/24 | Mela
8/24 | Winter 5/22
FeraIPrince: William gave a slight bow to Melantha, a slight cant of his
head to one side as she began skinning the thing. Those curious eyes roamed
back to Winter as she watched her hug the tree, a subtle nod given with a
softer smile. Allowing
FeraIPrince: his body to mend itself (as per self-healing skill) he would
turn away from the group. No thanks needed for his efforts with the tree,
after all Winter was a friend, and he wanted her pain quieted as well as the
tree's own. Slowly
TarnishedWarlord: With a soft smile given to each of them now he would turn
around and go to his room. He was tired, far more so than normal. As such, it
was time for him to go to bed.
Halo of Noire: She could skin a mouse, she was good at skinning things. And
this massive golden furred beast was no match for the sharp knife in her
hand. She was fairly careful as well with getting herself too messy, for the
cold was making her
FeraIPrince: he would begin making his way, only the gods knew where. Hands
tucked neatly into one another and set upon the small of his back. A faint
tune escaping through parted lips as he whistled to himself.
