Flight of Arrows: Wing had found her room, gotten settled, and was now
roaming. It was fun to explore, and so the archer did just that, hoping to
meet more of the others of the company. Tall and lean, she ambled over the
grounds, through the manor
Flight of Arrows: proper, and wherever her long legs would take her.
Trousers, boots, and a fitted shirt were her traditional wear, and the beaded
braids clicked together as she walked, humming lightly to herself. (d)

TarnishedWarlord: Lithel had spent a good bit of time the past few days but
traveling near the manor, exploring close, so as not to be to far away from
the group just yet. Though, he still wanted to make sure he knew some of the
things around.
TarnishedWarlord: Walking slowly inside the manor again he sighed a bit from
his day of exploring, his hands dusting off those robes of his, removing the
few specs of dust that collected on his clothes, and keeping the white linen
fabric neat and
TarnishedWarlord: clean. Seeing Wing though when he made it into the meeting
hall he smiled to her, his head bowing in respect before that deep voice,
almost unmatching of how he acted came forth. "Good evening. I do hope you
are well today."
TarnishedWarlord: -d-
Exalted Emerald: Emma was splitting her time between Eldon Heath and the
Citadel of OCS, but tonight found her busy around the keep. She wasn't sure
who would be around, but she would be found coming down the hall from the
kitchen with a tray in her
Exalted Emerald: hands, with several cups and a teapot, and a small plate of
blueberry scones. Upon entrance into the main hall she glanced around, a
smile touching her lips as she noted two in the hall. "Good evening Wing,
Lithel. Care for a cup of
Exalted Emerald: tea with me?"
Flight of Arrows: Deep voice had green eyes shifting to observe, and the
freckled face of the archer split into a big smile. She gave him an
answering nod. "I am very well, thanks for asking." Ambling steps moved her
further into the hall, where
Flight of Arrows: she still chose to wander, not quite ready to sit down.
Her gaze moved to Emma, and she smiled to her as well. "Thanks. I'll try
some. Never been much of a tea drinker, but I'm itchin' for somethin' warm
to drink." (d)
FeraIPrince: Boredom. It was the bane of each and every of the wanderers.
Those souls of gypsy origin, their nomadic blood sining to them to travel.
These in itself enough to taunt even the most stoic to peruse and venture
out. Now mix these
Exalted Emerald: "Well I think it's delicious with a bit of cream and
honey." She moved to the large table around which at least eight could seat,
more if they pulled in more chairs, and set the cups out. A cup was poured
for herself, and for Wing,
Exalted Emerald: and the teapot set aside if Lithel wished any.
TarnishedWarlord: Seeing Emma there he smiled even more. Turning, he bowed
deep at the waist, his hands clasping behind his back before he offered just
a tiny shake of his head when he straightened back up. "Thank you, but no. I
prefer water only to
FeraIPrince: with one of feral birth and an insatiable curiousity and you
would find a rather potent combination to drift. As such William came and
went as often as dreams and wishes, never the same, never constant. Perhaps
he would find his way
FeraIPrince: to this place. One this night. Or....perhaps not.
FeraIPrince: [*on this night]
TarnishedWarlord: drink." Lithel was a firm beliver of not putting anything
in his body that would alter his state of mind, or curropt his body, and even
tea did that. "I prefer to keep myself as clean, and toxin free as I can." He
smiled brightly,
TarnishedWarlord: as if just looking at the man for more than two minutes
wasn't enough to tell he was a bit of a clean freak.
TarnishedWarlord: -d-
Flight of Arrows: "Mmmm... cream and honey. Now that makes it sound
delicious. Enough of both of those, and maybe it won't taste like tea at
all." Hopeful tones in her voice, and she went to fetch the cup, adding to
that liquid some of the
Flight of Arrows: sweetening agents. She lifted the cup, tasted, added a
little more, stirred, lifted, tasted... again and again, until it was likely
that there was more cream and honey than tea in that cup. Lithel was given a
look, a grin hiding
Exalted Emerald: "That is commendable, Lithel." She smiled over towards him,
then went about creaming and sugaring her tea. Chai, it was, in honor of a
certain bird she had not seen in ages past. Though her favorite was
chamomile. She pulled a chair
Flight of Arrows: behind her cup. If he liked immaculate, Wing probably
wasn't the best of company for him. She was of fisherfolk, originally;
certainly not filthy, but clean was relative. (d)
Exalted Emerald: out at the table and took a seat.
FeraIPrince: A soft and subtle whisp of wind found life without the Inn. Odd
in an of itself when one took the time to notice it came from space and not
some window or door. Though when the smell of salted air and the faint cries
of those birds
TarnishedWarlord: Oh, Lithel had no problem with how others choose to live
their life, it was their choice to make, and he had no right to question it.
Though as far as he went he wouldn't let himself get any to dirty if he
could help it. Though he
FeraIPrince: of the deep sea, the wind began to truly puzzle those within.
As promised the source became apparant. A slight shimmer, a glimpse into
something not there yet tangible, a man stepping out over a railing of a
ship, only to set foot
FeraIPrince: within the manor. The simple open chest white shirt, loose
black trousers held up by a red sash belt, a pair of light knee high leather
boots, and the hat. Dear word the hat. Large brimmed and plummed with one
delicate feather. All
FeraIPrince: gave the man a rakish appearance. Adjusting several rings upon
his fingers he would cast that cheshire grin behind him and give a slight bow
to the fading hole. "Pirates....one would never suspect they could be such
gracious
TarnishedWarlord: also wasn't the type to get all bent out of shape just
because he got a little dirty, it was more a prefrence than a need. "I hope
all is well?" A wide question, pretty open for any of those gathered to
answer, and not really
FeraIPrince: hosts." If only spoken to himself.
Flight of Arrows: Salted air... that smelled like home. Green eyes looked,
blinked, widened, and she was completely fascinated by the appearance of
someone from... well, from somewhere that clearly wasn't here. And for a
moment, she was homesick,
Flight of Arrows: painfully so. One of the chairs was claimed, and she
dragged it out so that she could situate her long body upon it, still sipping
the now tepid tea which was sweeter than it had any right to be. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: pertaining to anything, but more to everything at once.
Seeing William, he smiled to the man, giving him a bit of a nod as well
before he moved tot he table and slipped into a seat himself. It had been a
long day, so he was a little
TarnishedWarlord: tired from the trip.
Nevara Encore: "Wait for me, damnit!" A woman came running behind William,
her dark blue dress whipping around her and her long strands of ebon flying
in the wind. Black lace gloves upon her hands, and a parasol on her shoulder.
She reached out
FeraIPrince: Save for the fact that he was immaculately clean, William
looked very much the part of a pirate. With perhaps a bit more jewelry on
than one would be accustomed to seeing him in. Each and every detail crafted
to suit his need upon
Nevara Encore: with a free hand to grab the back of his shirt, so she
wouldn't get left behind and forgotten, crazy William. Her feet would nigh
float then land upon the manor floor whereupon she would run her hands over
her dress to dust it off
Nevara Encore: and then lower the black lace parasol and close it. "That was
delightful. I smell chai tea." She walked to the table, and took a seat,
immediately beginning to pour herself a cup of the chai.
FeraIPrince: Tidebreaker. With his right hand he casually adjusted the
rapier upon his hip, turning around with a dancer's finesse he lavishly
removed his hat and gave Lithel a deep bow. As he righted himself he was
grabbed from behind and a
FeraIPrince: slightly puzzled expression crossed over him. Chuckling softly
as he righted that hat upon his head. "Deepest apologies Kinnet. I am so
used to traveling alone that I had forgotten that another needed the same
exit from the good
FeraIPrince: Captain's graces."
Exalted Emerald: Aqua eyes wide, as her son never ceased to amaze her with
his travels and appearances. She was mesmerized as she watched the ship and
then him step off, then the black and blue garbed woman come in behind him.
"William... wait,
Exalted Emerald: Kinnet?" Blink, reaching up to rub at her eyes as she spied
the woman go for the chai. She looked the exact same as she remembered her
though. "William you look quite dashing you know. A pirate's garb suits you,
and such a jaunty
Exalted Emerald: hat to boot." She grinned and moved over towards her son,
and planted a kiss on his forehead. Mother's prerogative. Then she gazed to
Kinneret. "It has been a while, luv. How are you?"
FeraIPrince: "By now Mother I would suspect that you know full well that any
garb I find myself in..." Twisting his fingers through the air he conjured
himself a clear glass bottle with what could only be deep amber rum inside.
Normally a wine
FeraIPrince: fellow though the semantics demanded he partake of rum.
"...suits me."
FeraIPrince: [yes, perhaps a trifle arrogant, but he is feline.]
Nevara Encore: She seemed intent on the tea for the moment, though the
apology from William was taken with a slight bow of her head to him and a
smile. She turned that smile to Emmarie and sent a wink in her direction.
"Good morning Emmarie. It is
Nevara Encore: morning isn't it?" She had no idea. "Thanks for making tea,
you must have expected me. And yes it's been ages. I'm well." She glanced
over to the others in the room, Lithel and Wing, and offered a nod of
greeting. Then to sipping
Nevara Encore: her wonderful chai tea.
Flight of Arrows: It was, needless to say, an interesting entrance. The
young woman with her beaded hair, jewelry, and scars watched the interchange
with a great deal of curiosity. Now, that was something to learn how to
do... if it was something
Exalted Emerald: "Of course I do, and humble too." She teased him and then
sipped her tea in silence for now, watching Kinnet. When she said she'd know
she was coming, the Andra'liah merely gave a shrug and grin.
Flight of Arrows: she could even hope to learn how to do... which she wasn't
certain she could. Ponder, frown, sip, stare. A nod to the newest woman,
and another bright smile from her freckled face. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel gave a bit of a wider smile, and even offered a
tiny laugh to William. That man was....Interesting to say the least. Though
after sitting there in silence for a few short moments he blushed just a tiny
bit. Obviously he'd
Nevara Encore: Stares at Wing. "You...look familiar. I think I have known
you in a past life. Perhaps, when I was known as Morgaine? But, my memory has
failed me for years, so I could be mistaken. Or perhaps I saw your picture on
the roster of
Nevara Encore: Eden."
TarnishedWarlord: forgotten something and was a little embarrased that he
had done so. Turning, he bowed to the group again. "I'm sorry, excuse me just
one moment." With that said he turn to rush up the stairs and to his room
quickly.
TarnishedWarlord: -d-
FeraIPrince: Never one to miss an opportunity to meet another, that devilish
charmer that he was, made his way over to Wing. A slight cant to his head as
those deep azure pools danced with mirth and a trace of chaos. Now token
without a price.
FeraIPrince: As he moved there was not so much of a step mind you, William
prowled more than he walked. Stopping just shy of Wing he reached down and
with the backs of his fingers dusted along the edge of Wing's cheek before
teasing a random
FeraIPrince: braid of hair. With a slight peal of musical laughter he took a
swallow from the rum bottle, managing to make it look rather stately, instead
of like a lush. "Yes, she is none other than Wing. She know both our
shadows. To answer
FeraIPrince: what remained unasked Miss Geraud, I can." Unspoken
questions would illict the same responce as hose spoken aloud.
Flight of Arrows: Another blink, and Wing peered at the woman. "Morgaine?
That does sound familiar..." Wide eyes suddenly. "The sea, the dragon... I
lost my pants!" And just as William stepped forward, so that her face
colored brightly. How
Exalted Emerald: She watched as Lithel excused himself, and then set to
drinking her tea again at the table. A glance made to William, watching as he
made his way to Wing, a smile on her face as she watched him. She was so
proud of him, he had
Exalted Emerald: become a wonderful and unique man. Tea was sipped, in
silence.
Flight of Arrows: uncouth! Her head tilted, moving from the one to the
other, and since she was horrible at playing coy, she could only be a little
amused and a lot uncomfortable as he brushed cheek and braid. "Xanthus... I
was a Keeper in Eden.
Flight of Arrows: To think I was drawn here... could it simply be chance?"
Her gaze drifted to Emma then, a bit of a shrewd look in the young woman's
green eyes. (d)
Nevara Encore: Snaps her fingers and laughs. "Yes! The pier, the dragon, the
baby stolen. And yes you lost your pants." She laughed merrily at that and
watched the two of them, a little glimmer of amusement in her dark abyssal
eyes. Gloved finger
FeraIPrince: "I am aware. The creation you knew as Xanthus Vilder was a
portion of myself. Set free in large part by my own hand though having hence
been recalled is no longer amongst the folk of the here and now." A slight
wink from him and
Nevara Encore: rubbed around the top of her teacup as she listened, though
at the statement of chance and the gaze to Emma she began laughing again.
"Emma would never, could never, devise a plan to get folk together in such a
OnlineHost: Crown of Xylin has entered the room.
Nevara Encore: way." Grins as she set her cup down and a glance made towards
Emmarie, a wink of thick lashes.
FeraIPrince: Wing would find herself more at ease around him. There was
something creeping along her reservations about the man, a warm blanket
covering over the things that told her she need be uncomfortable. Though
before it moved too deeply
FeraIPrince: William backed away. Always leave them wanting more, as the
saying went. Turning around on the balls of his feet he moved to find himself
a large and deeply cushioned chair. Odd though, no one could recall it being
there until he
FeraIPrince: sat down within it.
OnlineHost: Crown of Xylin has left the room.
Flight of Arrows: "It is good to meet you, William. And you... Kinnet, is
that the name you go by now?" A glance to the one she'd known as Morgaine.
Oh yes, she was more at ease, but the eeriness of this encounter was doing
things to her stomach.
Flight of Arrows: Another glance to Emma. "Will there be food?" (d)
Exalted Emerald: She remained silent, but delighted, she knew quite a bit
more than she let on but she'd always been that way. There was in fact, not
too much that got by her or that she could not find out or did not
know."There are scones here if
Exalted Emerald: you wish, or head into the kitchen and have cook fix you a
plate and come back out and eat with us if you like."
Nevara Encore: "Kinneret Duggan was my name, and Kinnet is my nickname for
it is far too hard to add in that extra syllable for most. I was merely in
hiding as Morgaine, a shadow as William states, for the time being due to
certain circumstances
Nevara Encore: in my life. But, I am me again, myself that is, yes Kinnet."
Nod nod.
Flight of Arrows: Scones had her frowning all over again; she wasn't the tea
and scones sort of folk. But mention of raiding the kitchen appealed to her,
and she surged out of her seat, heading in that direction. And then she
remembered her
Flight of Arrows: manners. Turn, smile. "Would anyone else like anything,
since I'm headed there?" (d)
Nevara Encore: Waves her gloved hand. "I'm good, thank you."
Exalted Emerald: Was busy munching on a blueberry scone, after she'd spoken
to Wing, and gave a shake of her head.
FeraIPrince: "I am quite content to take in only the company that surrounds
me." Another of those impish grins as he adjusted himself slightly. Body
burrowing ever deeper into the seat.
OnlineHost: II Mintiper II has entered the room.
TarnishedWarlord: Walking slowly back down into the main hall with a
satisfied smile on his face he joined the others at the table. Sitting down
in his seat, he looked around at the others for a moment, just taking each of
them in before he lifted up
TarnishedWarlord: one of the small cups that the others were useing for tea.
Holding it in his hands he started to whisper a few words, his black eyes
seemed to shine with a hint of light blue just before the cup was filled with
a crisp, clean, and
Nevara Encore: "Emma, have you changed things around? This doesn't look like
it did before." Oh the poor birdie was so turned around, she had no clue
where she was. She was merely following William and where he was taking her
she never quite knew.
Flight of Arrows: And since Lithel had returned, she turned her attention to
him. "Would you like anything to eat from the kitchen? I'll make certain it
is thoroughly cleaned." Completely serious, except for the light in those
green eyes. Unless
Flight of Arrows: she was in a situation where her bow was needed, she was
rarely completely serious. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: cool water. Lifting it up to his lips now and taking a
small sip from the cup he sighed. Oh, the deliciousness of fresh water.
Though when Wing made her comment he blushed just a tiny bit about the
comment and shook his head just a
TarnishedWarlord: touch. "No, thank you though. I am fine."
Flight of Arrows: She almost felt bad for making him blush... almost. And
with that, she turned and hurried off to find the cook and likely drive them
to distraction with her food order. (d)
FeraIPrince: One of the traits, amongst the many, that the mother passed to
her son, was the ability to have oh so little pass without notice. Yet a
difference between them was William often times
FeraIPrince: could not control those playful impulses. He had notcied now on
several occasions, be them bloody or not, that when a member of the fairer
sex offered kindness to Lithel, the monk blushed. Looking over to Kinnet, a
devious twinkle
FeraIPrince: in his eyes, he spoke through a wide smile. "Truly friend
Monk, needs the comforts of fine company. Do you not agreed Kinnet?"
TarnishedWarlord: It really wasn't hard to get Lithel to blush, he was a
very shy man, but he tried to keep himself open and eager to help others, so
he did what he could to overcome that shyness just to mingle with others.
Though at Williams comment
TarnishedWarlord: he lifted a brow slightly, not really sure what the man
was talking about. "Fine company?"
Nevara Encore: Well that raven did not miss much either though at the moment
she was devouring a scone and drinking tea. She looked over as William spoke,
then turned an amused glance to the monk. "Indeed, William. He's such a cute
thing too. I
Nevara Encore: can imagine that so many women are attracted to such an
upstanding, lovely, young monk as he." She took another dainty sip of her tea
and rose, moving over to where poor Lithel sat. Reaching out, she brushed a
fingertip along his
Nevara Encore: cheek as she studied him, looking at his eye color,
complexion, hair, and the like as she smiled warmly at him. "Truly a
delight."
FeraIPrince: "Fine company." William offered a rather lavish gesture with
his hand as Kinnet more than exceeded his expectations. Hiding a chuckle
behind another small swallow from the bottle, he would frown slightly as he
pulled the bottle
OnlineHost: II Mintiper II has left the room.
TarnishedWarlord: Well it seemed his question would be answered in short
order. As Kinnet spoke like she had his already tanned cheeks darkened more,
blushing far more than he had in the recent past. Complaments such as those
weren't something he
Flight of Arrows: It really wasn't long before Wing returned, her hands
laden with a plate piled high with a little bit of everything. She'd made
certain that there was nothing created just for her, so she'd let them pile
up some of whatever was
FeraIPrince: away from his face. Turning the bottle rightside down, he
poured some the the dark fluid into the air. As those dark droplets fell they
moved apart and together again. Forming a wide glass, instead of pouring all
over himself. Once
FeraIPrince: the glass was....poured....from the bottle he poured some of
the rum into it and set the bottle atop the table beside him.
Flight of Arrows: readily available, and her mouth was already chewing
delightedly as she balanced her way back to her seat. "Mmmm... now, this is
a feast." (d)
TarnishedWarlord: often got, but most of the time it was because he wasn't
the typical bold, assertive man that roamed the lands. Though when Kinnet
came closer to him those pure black eyes lifted up, focused on her face, only
to look away just a
TarnishedWarlord: touch when he felt that finger touch against his cheek.
His long, silken black hair falling to touch against her finger before he
spoke up, his deep voice, normally so calm and collected seemed just a tiny
bit broken now. "Th-Thank
TarnishedWarlord: you." Well, he didn't really know what else to say. Not
the smoothest board in the shop obviously.
FeraIPrince: "Good friend Monk, I do think we will fast become friends."
Shaking his head with a slight chuckle as he let those long legs out before
him, feet crossing at the ankle. "Truly I do."
Exalted Emerald: "You two are evil." She stated softly as she looked across
the table to Lithel as Kinnet toyed with him. Though she was sure she wasn't
lying, as she wasn't a liar that she knew of. But still, Lithel was blushing
and she could only
Exalted Emerald: smirk.
Nevara Encore: "Aww, now that is something I haven't seen in forever. A man
blushing. It's terribly attractive." She cupped his cheek as she stared at
him smiling, watching his cheeks darken. If she could tiptoe high enough
she'd have kissed his
Nevara Encore: forehead, but he was far too tall for her to do such a thing
to, so she merely gave a little pat to his cheek and a wink, before moving
back to her tea.
Exalted Emerald: "Oh and Kinnet, just so you know, we are not where you
think we are. We are in Eldon Heath." She added softly.
TarnishedWarlord: Poor thing, he couldn't help but blush even more at her
next comment. Though, when she finally moved away and back to her tea Lithel
let out a deep, slow breath he didn't even realize he'd been holding. Those
black eyes looking
Flight of Arrows: She finally seemed aware of how they were torturing
Lithel. Her head shook a little, beaded braids clicking together. Her mouth
was too full to make further comment however. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: around quickly now, a bit embarrased from the whole event,
but the man wasn't the type to run away. Sitting there now, a soft smile at
his lips he took a long drink from his cup of water before he looked over to
the food that had
Nevara Encore: "Eldon Heath you say? So on the other side of Spirydon from
Eden." She nodded, noting now why the hall was different. She grinned over to
Wing at the spread she'd found. "You cleaned things out didn't you, Wing?"
TarnishedWarlord: been brought back by Wing, he tilted his head just a
little, it wasn't exactly a small meal that was for sure.
Flight of Arrows: Dabbing at her mouth with the napkin that had been stuffed
into her fist by the cook (because she'd likely have returned without one),
she swallowed and answered with a grin. "They piled it high... just in case
anyone else wanted
Exalted Emerald: "William, why don't you entertain us with a verse of some
sort." She knew he had something in that brain of his he could spout out as
entertainment. She gave an almost apologetic glance to Lithel as Kinnet moved
away from him, then
Exalted Emerald: looked back over to her eldest son.
Flight of Arrows: anything." The plate was inched a little closer to
Lithel. "The cheeses really are delicious. You should try something." And
no, it wasn't a small meal in the least... she was a woman who liked to eat.
The leanness of her
Flight of Arrows: figure was a blessing in that regard. She didn't have
much shape, other than something like a twig, but that suited her well. (d)
Nevara Encore: (aol hates me)
TarnishedWarlord: He saw that look from Emma, though offered her a
reasureing smile. After all, she couldn't apologize for everyones actions,
and he didn't really mind the attention Kinnet gave him. Though he'd not
outwardly show it to much. Again
FeraIPrince: [sorry was afk...dogs...back now]
TarnishedWarlord: though he looked back to Wing, taking a look over the
plate again before he reached out, those finges of his picking up a small
peice of meat. "Thank you." With that being said he then took a small bite
Flight of Arrows: ((I am planning on it))
Exalted Emerald: (ok cool. I know coran can't come, but that's ok)
FeraIPrince: [ok back for real now]
Exalted Emerald: (wb)
TarnishedWarlord: -=Yeah, I can be here.
FeraIPrince: [we playing or chatting?]
Exalted Emerald: (playing, I was just asking if everyone could be here for
the quest)
Flight of Arrows: "Anytime." She gave him a smile and a nod, then picked
some more at the plate, trying a little of everything, and not finding much
that she didn't like. (d)
Exalted Emerald: "The bloodstone will be joining us soon, Lithel." She spoke
absently almost, as she filled her cup with another bit of tea. She was
enjoying that old friends were getting together though she wasn't altogether
sure if he knew Celeste
Exalted Emerald: or not.
FeraIPrince: William turned his head to face Emma full on. "Oh, well now, if
you insist. Give me but a moment to think of something. I might
have....just....the...song...." William took another drink from the glass of
rum, those eyes moving
OnlineHost: Knightlywishes has entered the room.
Exalted Emerald: Nodded to William with an expectant smile, as she knew
whatever he'd produce would be wonderful. Leaning back against her chair at
the table she kept her gaze on him now.
FeraIPrince: from the glass to the bottle and back. Tilting his head to one
side he chuckled and raised his glass, swaying it back and forth to keep the
rhythm. His voice humming softly as he found the words.
FeraIPrince: "Seven wise men with knowledge so fine,
FeraIPrince: created a pussy to their design.
FeraIPrince: First was a butcher, with smart wit,
FeraIPrince: using a knife, he gave it a slit,
FeraIPrince: Second was a carpenter, strong and bold,
FeraIPrince: with a hammer and chisel, he gave it a hole,
FeraIPrince: Third was a tailor, tall and thin,
FeraIPrince: by using red velvet, he lined it within,
FeraIPrince: Fourth was a hunter, short and stout,
FeraIPrince: with a piece of fox fur, he lined it without,
FeraIPrince: Fifth was a fisherman, nasty as hell,
FeraIPrince: threw in a fish and gave it a smell,
FeraIPrince: Sixth was a preacher, whose name was McGee,
FeraIPrince: touched it and blessed it, and said it could pee,
FeraIPrince: Last was a sailor, dirty little runt,
FeraIPrince: he sucked it and fucked it, and called it a cunt."
FeraIPrince: Slamming his glass down upon the table he would then bring it
up to his mouth. In one deft motion swallowing the whole of it's contents and
hurling the glass across the room into the fireplace. Apparently Master
William was still in
FeraIPrince: his pirate state of mind.
Exalted Emerald: "....." Stare for several very, very long moments.
TarnishedWarlord: He had met all of the Oratio's at one time or another,
though Emma was the only one he really knew. Nodding to her, he offered a
small smile, just about to respond to her, but Williams ended that quickly.
Hearing his little song he
TarnishedWarlord: blinked once, twice, then three times before he looked at
him with a odd look on his face. Obviously he wasn't used to such things
being said.
Knightlywishes: James would come in to hear the random poem and tilt his
head curiously. "Well then..." He shook his head. "Greetings everyone" He
said as he'd sit down for a time.
Flight of Arrows: Wing had never been the most decorous of ladies, but when
that particular song struck her ears, whatever she'd been eating went, well,
out... on the table. And it was followed by loud laughter. (d)
Nevara Encore: She lifted her teacup and waved it side to side as he sang,
then laughed and took a sip of her tea when it was finished. "Intriguing,
Nevara Encore: William."
FeraIPrince: Looking from one to another to another, those wide pools
finally falling upon his mother. Setting a hand to his chest in mock shame
and sorrow, William feigned a pained look. "I apologize, Mother. Too much
time with high seas,
Flight of Arrows: Hand clapped over her mouth, and she turned red, laughing
so hard. "Oh my... I can't breathe..." Gasp. "That was... priceless!" (d)
FeraIPrince: rum, and those least likely to follow the law." When he had
learned that poem upon the pirate ship, he had taken it to memory for just a
situation like this.
Exalted Emerald: She could only snicker and give a shake of her head.
"Enlightening, William, to see the things you are learning and commiting to
memory. Why am I not shocked? Hmm."
Flight of Arrows: "Ohmygod, ohmygod." Tears wet her cheeks, and she did
feel bad about spitting out her food. Napkin was used to gather that
unsightly stuff up and tuck it out of sight. She was just happy she hadn't
been drinking... it would have
Flight of Arrows: come out her nose. (d)
FeraIPrince: One raven hued brow arched slightly as he tilted his head to
one side, giving his mother that petulant glare he had since he was but a
cub. "I can also trace our blood back to the very beginning, and say their
names in the native
FeraIPrince: tounge, or another of your choosing." Turning his attention
and focus down to the tips of his fingers, examining the nails for that
invisible dirt. A moment of preening, never passed him by.
Exalted Emerald: "I'm very sure you could, William, and a myriad of other
interesting things. And, hello James. Its good to see you. Come have some tea
and scones, or some of the pile of food that Wing has gathered from
Exalted Emerald: Cook."
Flight of Arrows: Eager nod. She'd share, certainly! Now that she'd gotten
herself well under control, eyes wiped of the merry tears, she turned her
attention to the food, certain that if she looked at William, she'd burst
into laughter all over
Flight of Arrows: again. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: He turned now, looking at James, smiling to him he bowed
his head, seeing the man he's trained with a bit the night before. "Good
evening to you sir." Then he once more went silent. Between Kinnets teasing
of him, and William's
TarnishedWarlord: little 'entertainment' he felt it would just be best to
not say anything much at the moment.
Knightlywishes: "Thank you" he smiled and took a cup and a scone and did a
mock englishman with a pinky up, while sipping his tea. What no crumpets?
Anywho, "What was that all about? I do hope i do not have to say a poem, and
hello sir" Bowed.
Nevara Encore: She was done with her tea, and done laughing at William's
song, and soon rose and moved around the table towards the very shy monk. She
leaned behind him and whispered in his ear. "Don't be alarmed, you'll have to
get used to such
FeraIPrince: "Oh nothing more than my Mother asking for me to take the
floor. She should have known better being that I have just left the company
of pirates." William vaugely gestured towards the area before him, as if
the hand gesture would
FeraIPrince: explain everything.
Nevara Encore: things dear man." And if he was seated, she'd give him a
quick kiss to the side of his head before moving with a swish of her long
gown towards William.
Exalted Emerald: "Do you know a poem, James? If so, you have the floor." She
grinned, then merely smiled even brighter hearing her son. "Yes, I fully take
the blame, though it was entertaining."
Knightlywishes: Blushed, "I got a saying about paragraphs but It is not
really appropriate"
TarnishedWarlord: Yes, Lithel was sitting down. Seeing Kinnet to him, only
to get behind him, he smiled just a little before he blushed slightly. His
eyes shifted, trying to look back to her without turning his head. Though,
when she kissed that
Exalted Emerald: "And William's was appropriate? Do share." Nods.
FeraIPrince: Turning in his eat so that he offered Kinnet only a shoulder.
His feet still hanging out within the open air as solidly as if they were
atop a foot stool. Shaking his head as he folded his hands into one another,
setting them over
Knightlywishes: "A paragraph is like a girl's skirt long enough to cover the
subject and short enough to keep things interesting"
FeraIPrince: his chest. "I shall think not Harlot. Trickster of the heart.
Ebon winged temptress of the night. Go find your pleasures eleswhere."
Trying to cover that cheshire grin he turned to look over the knight. A
solemn nod given to the
TarnishedWarlord: cheek of his he blushed more. His eyes lowered just a
little before he looked back over to Kinnet again when she walked over to
William. Poor Lithel, being teased like that, he didn't really mind it at
all though.
TarnishedWarlord: -d-
Flight of Arrows: James was given a bit of a grin. Wing wouldn't wear
skirts; they were not suited to her spindly legs. Trousers were her way to
go to keep those storkish stems from embarrassing her. And Lithel was
getting a lot of attention.
Flight of Arrows: Curiouser and curiouser. (d)
FeraIPrince: statement. "How true, how true." Taking note of those within
he found himself in the company of people from nearly all fields. A knight, a
monk, an archer, a druid, a talker, and himself....who changed what he more
often than not.
Nevara Encore: She paused as she approached, birdish cant of her head given
and a little flutter of dark lashes over even darker eyes as he turned from
her and spoke such wicked words her way. Hand rose to press to her heart as
if he had shot an
Nevara Encore: arrow into it, and she stepped back once, then twice. "You
wound me voraciously." She wasn't even sure if that made sense but it sounded
good. She veered to the left then, and took a seat on one of the couches, and
began to peel off
Nevara Encore: her gloves as she duly lifted her chin in defiance to his
spurning of her attentions.
Knightlywishes: Ok, now that that was done he's nibble on his scone. And
chuckle at the antics of the company.
Flight of Arrows: "I know several songs of the sea, and they might even be
called appropriate." Nod and click of beaded braids. (d)
Exalted Emerald: "Do share, Wing." She watched Kinnet and William with
curiousity, smirking only slightly at the game they were playing- if it were
a game, and then turned her attention back to Wing.
Flight of Arrows: She wasn't much of a singer, but she could carry a bit of
a tune, and thank goodness she wasn't shy. "I'm the man before the mast/That
ploughs the raging sea/And on this simple subject/Will you please enlighten
me/Common sailors we
Flight of Arrows: are called/Come tell me the reason why/And on this simple
subject I'll reply.
Knightlywishes: (brb)
Flight of Arrows: Don't you call us common sailors anymore/Don't you call us
common sailors anymore/Good things to you we bring/Don't you call us common
men/We're as good as anybody that's on shore.
Flight of Arrows: The young girls of this country/Their growing days we
bless/We brings them silks and satins/Out of which they makes a dress/To gain
the heart of some young man/As fancy dresses do/Don't never despise the
sailor boys/That sails the
Flight of Arrows: ocean blue.
Flight of Arrows: The young gents of this country/They're sitting at their
ease/Not thinking on the stormy nights/That we spent on the seas/We brings
the leaves to make cigars/To decorate their face/They wouldn't call us
common/If they were sometimes
Flight of Arrows: in our place.
Flight of Arrows: When speaking of a man ashore/We never hear you say/He's a
common this or common that/Be his calling what it may/Be he a traveling
tinker,/Or a scavenger, or a sweep/Then why call us common sailors/Who battle
with the deep." (d)
TarnishedWarlord: Looking slowly between those gathered, his gaze was soon
sat on Wing, hearing her start to sing he smiled more. Ah, somthing to
distract his wandering mind. His hands clasped together, resting lightly in
his lap as he tilted his
Exalted Emerald: She clapped when Wing was done with her song, and hey it
had a message as well. "Well done Wing, well done. I will have to remember
that there is more than one with an interesting song to sing in our company.
It will give us
Exalted Emerald: something to do around the fire when we camp."
Nevara Encore: "Quite good." She said softly from her perch on the couch
away from the majority of them if not all of them. Her gaze moved towards the
flickering flames in the hearth as she lay her gloves across her lap and
began to twist the
TarnishedWarlord: head some, enjoying the song she gave to them. His smile
gew more, taking it all in, before he bowed his head in a deep respect for
her and her song. "Very enjoyable. Inspireing even."
Flight of Arrows: The archer nodded and grinned. "I've got a few of them.
Spent a lot of time near the sea when I was a child. Heard a lot of songs."
(d)
FeraIPrince: "Some of us may not sit around the fire. I trust not the eyes
of man. I shall take to the flanks whilst we are out and about. I have ways
of passing in ways others can not. I think it best suited for me to claim the
role of scout."
Nevara Encore: various silver rings upon her fingers, each finger ringed
with at least one silver ring. Down went her hands into her lap, as she lay
her head back against the cushion and closed her eyes, only opening them a
moment to look over
Nevara Encore: towards William when he spoke, then closed again.
Exalted Emerald: "Of course, William. I wouldn't expect anything less from
you."
Knightlywishes: (back) Clapped a little for the songs and smiled.
FeraIPrince: Reaching down into his poket he grasped the small object within
and bringing it out. Holding it aloft, pinched between pointer and thumb.
Allowing for the gemstone to catch the light from within the hearth and
reflect it in a sharp
FeraIPrince: prismatic display across the sleepy little winged one.
Knightlywishes: James would stretch a bit, before fionishing his scone and
tea. His eyes looked around some.
Nevara Encore: Shiny! That caught her attention and her beady little eyes
opened and she sat forward, set upon watching the light play upon the
gemstone. Eyes flitted back and forth, and it seemed the gem was calling her.
"Shiny." She stated very
Nevara Encore: simply, and sat her gloves aside and rose, like a moth drawn
to a beacon of light, moving gracefully in slow strides across the floor
towards William. His scorning of her earlier forgotten, now she had one thing
on her mind. The
Nevara Encore: procurement of that gemstone. Once she stood before him, she
smiled ever so prettily to him and held her hand out as though it was obvious
that it was for her.
Exalted Emerald: "James, you look bored. Tell us what you've been doing
today, or a little more about yourself if you wish." She rested her arms
before her on the table and smiled to the knight.
TarnishedWarlord: Seeing Kinnet stand up and walk over to William, as if
something was calling to her, possessing her mind to get her there. Though
turning now he looked back to Emma at her words, only to advert his gaze at
James, as if waiting for
TarnishedWarlord: him to speak up.
Knightlywishes: "Well, today, on my patrols, I seemed to see many animals
wandering" He smiled as he would continue. "Nothing much else to report" His
hands tapped along his knees. "Though I do wish they day was more training
than patrolling"
FeraIPrince: "May I help you?" Those azure orbs flashing wildly with those
inner emotions. Looking from her to the gemstone he shook his head. "Oh I
apologize, let me put this bauble away. It is rude to toy with things whilst
we are speaking."
FeraIPrince: The gem was tucked away within the folds of his shirt, despite
the fabric having no visible pocket. Hands once again tucked into one another
and set to his waist.
Exalted Emerald: "Animals wandering huh? Perhaps you should head closer to
the Ivory Tower for your patrols, things could be much more exciting in
town." She grinned, poor guy, all they were doing was sitting around chatting
and drinking tea when he
Exalted Emerald: wanted to spar.
Flight of Arrows: Almost a third of that pile of food had already
disappeared, and it didn't appear that the archer was slowing down. (d)
Nevara Encore: Hand held out still, a dark brow rising as he asked if he
could help her. As the gemstone was tucked away, she gave an audible intake
of breath which she held and then released with a sigh. But, once the gem was
tucked away she was
Nevara Encore: not as pulled to it of course and merely gave a shake of her
head and lifted her hand to brush through long hair. "You are a tease,
William. A horrible, terrible, no good, very bad tease. And cruel to boot."
With that she leaned
Nevara Encore: down, then caught herself and rose to her full yet short
height and spun on her heels and marched back to the couch where she sat.
TarnishedWarlord: Oh, like Kinnet was one to talk. The way she teased Lithel
and here she was getting all huffy at how William teased her. Never the less
Lithel could only smile a bit more to her, at the way she spoke, and how she
acted. But more in
FeraIPrince: Where she would see upon the cushion the gem. Sparkling and
looking up at her as if it had been there the entire time. With a slight
shrug he deepened his position into the cushions. "According to the popular
vote, I am quite good.
FeraIPrince: A single occurance of a lifetime."
TarnishedWarlord: hisown mind than anything. "When was this vote taken?"
Lithel really wasn't trying to be mean, funny, or cruel. It was an honest
question, but it really didn't come out that way.
FeraIPrince: William leaned his head backwards over the arm of the seat, so
that he was looking at the monk from upside-down. That devious little smirk
once again splayed across parted lips. "The vote was not for the chaste."
A soft chuckle
FeraIPrince: as he would only shake his head.
Nevara Encore: She paused, a smile forming across her face as she saw the
gem upon the cushion. She carefully plucked it up and looked it over, then
tucked it into a small pouch at her side that held various other baubles and
shinies. Down into
Nevara Encore: the cushions of the couch she'd sink then, her dark gaze
moving between William and Lithel and back again. "William is a rakish young
man, Lithel, so don't let his words bother you one bit. There is nothing
wrong with chastity,
Nevara Encore: and William will be a tease for eternity."
Exalted Emerald: She rose, bowing slightly to all within. "I'm going to go
take care of a few things, dears. It was good to see you all, if I don't see
you again tonight." She then headed down the hall to her small office there.
Exalted Emerald: (brb)
Flight of Arrows: "Singular occurrence of a lifetime?" Long fingers were
being sucked clean of whatever she'd last stuffed into her mouth. Eyebrows
had shifted upward so that the shiny piercing in her right brow shimmered
with the movement. "Oh,
FeraIPrince: "One night in the company of a woman whom is skilled in all the
ways one can never express in proper company, and he will be witness to all
the reasons why being chaste is to deny yourself the finest pleasures on this
life." With
Flight of Arrows: yes, chastity is nothing to sniff at... if you're strong
enough to resist temptation, then I suppose you've got what it takes to be...
whatever it is you are." (d)
FeraIPrince: a nod and a smile he turned those alluring eyes upon the
archer. "So I have been told dearest Archer."
TarnishedWarlord: It wasn't like Lithel would never have sex, he simply
hadn't done it yet. He came close once. Never the less he shook his head
toward William and Kinnet. He never cared when people spoke about how he
hadn't slept with anyone yet.
Flight of Arrows: "And how many singular occurrences have there been?" She
leaned forward a little, resting her arms upon the table and peering at the
rakish one. (d)
Nevara Encore: That actually wasn't what she meant, she had no idea that he
had never slept with anyone, she merely bespoke of the way he blushed and
acted quite shy and chaste around the women. She seemed to grow slightly
uncomfortable with the
TarnishedWarlord: Though he didn't make mention of William's words, instead
he gave a gentle laugh toward Wing's words. "I am a Monk, and chastity is
simply a reflection of my shyness I suppose."
Knightlywishes: He was still a loner on the ove train too, he would not
really like to talk about that openly.
Knightlywishes: (love train*)
Nevara Encore: train of discussion that was not being broached, and curled
even further down into the cushions and drew her attention to the flames,
though a tiny little smirk was upon her lips.
FeraIPrince: "A gentleman never tells...." He picked himself up and out of
the seat, hands wiping out the wrinkles in his clothing. Adjusting the hat
upon his head once more he looked over to Wing. "...though ladies do
whisper amongst their
Nevara Encore: now being *
FeraIPrince: friends." Offering a slight wink he moved to position himself
over by the window, hands tucked into the small of his back. Wide eyes cast
out over the night sky.
Flight of Arrows: Wing chuckled. "I think the saying about a gentleman is
that he never says who... not that he never says how many. And, in fact, a
gentleman probably wouldn't have brought it up at all in the first place..."
She shook her head
FeraIPrince: "I did not. Lady Kinneret did. My statement was simply a
rebuttle."
Flight of Arrows: slightly. "I doubt anyone's gonna be whispering to me;
it's why I just ask." Lithel was given another smile. "And my not being
shy... what should that say about me, if that might be the case about you?"
A wink offered to the
Flight of Arrows: monk. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel on the other hand wasn't opposed to speaking of
sex, not until the conversation turns toward him, and then he would blush
more. Never the less he let his eyes shift around, only to draw out one of
his spinel kamas. Looking
Flight of Arrows: "No... being called a tease is one thing. Announcing that
keeping congress with you is a singular occurrence of a lifetime is something
completely different." And where the hell had "keeping congress" come from?
(d)
TarnishedWarlord: over it slowly, the man still admired the way it fit in
his hands, looked in the dim light, and felt to be holding such a treasured
item. Something he was never without, not dareing to leave his kama's, or
time peice unprotected.
TarnishedWarlord: Though hearing Wing he blinked and lifted his eyes some.
Smiling softly to her now, only to nod a little. Though, for the moment he
kept silent. Mostly because he wasn't really sure how to respond to that.
TarnishedWarlord: -d-
TarnishedWarlord: -One sec-
Nevara Encore: That did bring a soft chuckle from the oddly silent , usually
talkative birdish one. "Keeping congress huh? I have not kept congress in a
very long time, so long ago that I have actually forgotten. Probably that son
of a bitch
Nevara Encore: husband of mine I had a while back who kept me from my
children was the last... indeed I think it was." Eyes caught sight of the
spinel weapon and attention was taken by it.
Nevara Encore: Yes she tended to talk too much at times. Perhaps now was one
of them.
Knightlywishes: (g2g)
Flight of Arrows: "Too much time listening to educated people talk, I
suppose. Sounds better than 'rogering.'" Certain nod attributed to that
statement. (d)
FeraIPrince: "Surely there is a simple remedy for such a situation. There
are no shortage of young bachelors available. If by taking toll of this
establishment is any indication." Leaning slightly forwards so that he could
take a better
FeraIPrince: [take it easy bud]
Flight of Arrows: ((bye!)
Knightlywishes: (night)
Exalted Emerald: (see ya, night)
OnlineHost: Knightlywishes has left the room.
FeraIPrince: look to the moons in the sky. Being a Fera, he needed to keep
track of the three moons and their position in the sky. There was an
occurance, it happened rarely, but not so rare as to forget, that all Fera
needed to keep aware.
Nevara Encore: "Yes, I know, William. it isn't as if I haven't had
opportunity. I've had many opportunities, even in recent months. But, there
is something that keeps me from it, then, and now. A silly thing I'm sure,
maybe, perhaps. I survive
TarnishedWarlord: Hearing Kinnet again he tilted his head just a small bit,
though he still didn't take his eyes away from his weapon. Instead, he kept
his eyes locked on the blade of his kama. Inspecting it for any flaws, even
though he knew there
Nevara Encore: just fine without it. Not really one to just choose any old
congressman for a tryst you know? It has to be a certain one." Nods.
TarnishedWarlord: were none. After looking his weapon, his priceless, and
most prized possession, the only thing that he kept that held any value at
all, he finally placed it back away inside his robe. Tucking it into it's
sheath, and moving to lift
Flight of Arrows: "I'm with Kinnet on that one. Gotta be the right one for
the job." Big smile. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: his cup, to drink from his water once more. "You speak as
if that is the single most driving force of life." His eyes went to William
as he spoke, showing that he was obviously speaking to him. He wasn't meaning
to be rude, but
TarnishedWarlord: sometimes he didn't think about what he said.
FeraIPrince: "No. The single most driving thing in this life is to learn. To
observe. To listen. To take everything you have ever heard, seen, smelled, or
taseted and record it. To see how to perfect it. To be the absolute peak of
each and every
FeraIPrince: field you choose to enter. Something you Monks adhere to from
my knowledge."
Flight of Arrows: "I like the part about tasting." Comment from the peanut
gallery. Wing had found another tasty morsel. (d)
TarnishedWarlord: When William spoke again he smiled all the more. With a
slow nod of his head given he straightened up just a bit. The man was right,
the pursuit of perfection was any Monks goal. To become so one with yourself
to become something
Nevara Encore: Curls up a little more into the cushions of the couch, eyes
closing as her tiny body began to curl up and the drifted to sleep. Little
yawn, and arms wrapped around herself as she was soon asleep making not a
noise save for her soft
Nevara Encore: breathing.
TarnishedWarlord: more than just a meer man. It wasn't a desire for power,
possession, or pleasure, but a desire to learn everything they could, and
bring their mind, body, and soul to a state above it's current state. "Yes,
that is very true. Though
TarnishedWarlord: it seems each person finds theirown driving force to keep
them on their own path."
FeraIPrince: William turned around and gave a slow and genuine smile to the
monk. Tapping only once to the side of his head he spoke but a single word.
"Curiosity." Before the word had even finished he was gone. His entire body
flatened as if
FeraIPrince: he were nothing more than a playing card. A sudden ripping
sound rent the air and his image was torn. Over and over again until all that
remained were fractions of paper that fell to the ground and out of sight.
Flight of Arrows: www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=21891764
If he liked immaculate, Wing probably
wasn't the best of company for him. She was of fisherfolk, originally;
certainly not filthy, but clean was relative.
My statement was simply a
rebuttle."
Flight of Arrows: slightly. "I doubt anyone's gonna be whispering to me;
it's why I just ask." Lithel was given another smile.
