Deceased Priest - Part One: Travel Troubles
GM/NPCs: Bellus Toxicum (Moira)
Participants: Bellus Toxicum (Moira), Ginger Complex (Habuki)
Bellus Toxicum: [Log On]
Bellus Toxicum: [GM: Story Background]
Bellus Toxicum: - In Moira's past, an evil and abusive priest was given charge of her education, resulting in the maiming of her hands, and the shaping of her distrustful nature. The first person she killed in her journey to become an expert on
Bellus Toxicum: poisons, she thought he was removed from her life forever. She was wrong. A member of the priest's order has discovered his journals, and raised the vile man from the grave, unbeknownst to the young woman. However, strange
Bellus Toxicum: occurrences in the monastery and surrounding countryside have prompted her estranged family to contact her, which is where we begin.-

Bellus Toxicum: [Initiative Order: Habuki - Moira]
Bellus Toxicum: [Open RP]
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira was seated quietly at the table in their kitchen, her pale gaze trained upon the fire, but unseeing. Memories were pouring through her, and her expression was blank as she sat motionless in her chair. A stained sheet of poor
Bellus Toxicum: quality parchment was grasped between her fingers. The ink had run in places, and it appeared tattered. The trouble her mother had gone to, to have this letter delivered must have cost her much, but her father could certainly afford
Bellus Toxicum: it. At least he could years before, when she had left. Now, she was not so sure. The lands around her father's keep were dying, her mother had said. And the monastery had closed its doors. Her fingers trembled briefly, and the
Bellus Toxicum: letter drifted to the floor, as her hands clapped over her ears, as though to block out a sound, her eyes squeezing shut. "It can't be.." She said into the quiet. "It can't be." -
Ginger Complex: --A relaxed sigh came from his lips...fresh from the bath, the cinnamon and vanilla scent would float out as the boy stepped out, toweling himself off and ready for a night of relaxation...no missions, no adventures, no one trying
Ginger Complex: to kill him...it was a wonderful day! And thus he walked out of the end of where the bathroom was, feeling fresh and only wrapped in a towel as he walked up beind where Miora was and hugged her from the neck now and nuzzled head
Ginger Complex: there...he had not noticed her distress and would kiss her cheek gently.- "Hello love...hello." -There he would look upon her expression as she hugged her ears, and blinked and looked at the fallen not, before he turned towards
Ginger Complex: her, their faces meeting- "Whatever is wrong?"-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - She nearly jumped when he approached from behind her, but his touch calmed her like no other's could. Anyone else would have caused her to draw away, retreating into her shell, but she couldn't hide her emotions from him. When she
Bellus Toxicum: looked up at him, her eyes were haunted. There were few things that frightened her. But there, in her face, was abject terror. She lowered her hand and pointed at the letter, as if she was reluctant to even touch it again. "My
Bellus Toxicum: mother wrote to me." She said quietly. To deliver the letter, her mother would have had to go to a mage, which in itself was dangerous where she was from. "My family's lands are dying. The cattle, the crops...the people." It was an
Bellus Toxicum: odd reaction she was having to such news, anger, confusion, a determination to get to the source perhaps, but this fear was uncharacteristic for her. -
Ginger Complex: --He did see something wrong with her and frowned a bit as the two of them pushed together, he forgetting about the romantic night that was semi planned, more focused upoon the woman now as she stared at him with those haunted eyes
Ginger Complex: and the boy nodded, and took her hands within his and caressed them now- "...Your mother huh? Well...we'll just have to see what the problem is hm?" -He smiled and squeezed one hand, as the other took the letter and read over it,
Ginger Complex: before it went to the table. He leaned down and their foreheads touched and he kissed her cheek softly.- "I'm here for you....and whatever I can do to stop this, I will. I promise" -He nodded his head now and allowed himself to
Ginger Complex: sit in the chair next too her and console her-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: [GM] -The letter read "My dearest daughter, I wish I could write to you with good tidings, and sweet words, but instead I pen this letter in haste and dismay. Word comes to us now and then of your doings, and your letters are
Bellus Toxicum: treasured when they arrive, but now I write to seek whatever help you might be able to give. Your father's people are dying of a strange sickness. The last time I saw such a wasting disease was when your father's poor priest
Bellus Toxicum: departed this world. It is a wasting disease, slow and painful, but I have been able to find no cure. Our herds and crops are failing and the land itself seems to be withering. We do not know what to do. If the disease does not take
Bellus Toxicum: us, starvation soon will. We sought succor from the monastery, but they have closed their doors and we fear that the order has fallen to the same strange illness. Some are whispering that it began there and has spread, and indeed,
Bellus Toxicum: it seemed when last I rode there, that the land seemed more desolate there than anywhere else. Please, daughter, if you can help us, please, come home. Your loving mother, Beatrice." -
Ginger Complex: ---And Habuki read the letter with the fullest extent, his eyes kept upon there in that way the letter was written and how it was written now...the disrupting effects seen He read about the priest and for some reason [unknown to
Ginger Complex: him tho for some reason his fingetips gripped the letter further] then relaxed as he continued to read. As he finished now, he would pull her closer and hug her and nodded.- "We'll figure it out,, love....I promise." -And he did,
Ginger Complex: of course he had no idea what was going on, but if anyone could figure it out---it was Miora...she was a specialist in poisons, witherings, and she would perfect that art now. The boy relaxed now as he would wrap an arm around her
Ginger Complex: and watched her expression-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: -When he wrapped his arms around her, she pressed close, clinging to him for comfort. For a long moment, she hid her face against his chest, drawing a slow breath, taking in his scent as he read over the letter. Finally, she lifted
Bellus Toxicum: her head and spoke softly, the fear in her expression subsiding only a little. "Do you remember what I once told you of the priest my mother spoke of?" She asked quietly, searching his face for the recognition. She didn't know how
Bellus Toxicum: much might have come back to him. She lifted her hand briefly, touching his cheek, her gaze intense upon his, as though willing him to remember. -
Ginger Complex: ---And the boy continued to hold her until she pulled away a little bit and he nodded his head....still wet from the bath, the boy would just shake his head at the letter, unable to fathom just what in the world had happened. Pushi
Ginger Complex: ng those tresses back now, he felt her hand upon his cheek and nodded.- "Anger flared when I read about a priest...and I did not know why...but now I see it in you, in your eyes and remember...he tortured you, made your hands what
Ginger Complex: they are and was your first kill." -He nodded, and instinctively his hands touched her own now and rubbed there, the boy caressed her hands gently as he looked into her eyes, gazed forth and smiled a little as their eyes met..-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - She nodded softly, letting her eyes close for a moment when she felt his soothing touch upon her small hands. "Yes. I killed him. I poisoned him, slowly, torturing him, as he tortured me. I made it last." Her breath hitched as she
Bellus Toxicum: glanced at the letter. "And now my people are dying, as he did. Slowly, painfully." She looked up at him again. "There is no amount of hemlock that could be dispersed into the water to kill so many so slowly, to kill off the
Bellus Toxicum: livestock.." She shuddered against him, taking comfort in his nearness. "That order claimed holiness, but they were an evil breed. Someone is seeking revenge for the priest. Why, and why now, I don't know. But I have to find
Bellus Toxicum: out. I have to stop this." She murmured quietly. -
Ginger Complex: "...mhm....And that's good, he deserved worse for hurting you" -He left it at that as he looked towards her, and did not judge her for her mission---no he thought her just and looked ahead at her now as the two of them saw upon
Ginger Complex: the just way and the boy nodded his head as he would wrap his arms around her.- "Whenever you are ready, we'll head out and seek this...and what is happening. Too use the same poison as you used means that someone at least knows
Ginger Complex: what killed him...we'll have to find this and see if the order is responsible...if it led out someone as sick as that priest, no doubt someone taught him such ways, or he instilled such teachings on an appentice.....which very well
Ginger Complex: might be the case..."-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - She nodded slightly, pressing lightly against him. Her thoughts were already moving ahead to what they would need to do. She never doubted that he would be by her side, but knowing that he was willing to go with her, to put to
Bellus Toxicum: rights whatever was causing the atrocity in her father's lands made her tighten her arms around him. "Thank you." She said softly. "We will depart in the morning." Until then, she would need to make sure they had all the supplies
Bellus Toxicum: they would need, and arrange to be teleported to those lands. A world away, they could not simply walk or ride there. "I'll need to speak to Mela, or Emmarie to get there." Again, she shuddered slightly, but it was more of a release
Bellus Toxicum: of the tension dwelling in her than the fear that had seized her. A course of action always improved any situation. A faint curve then appeared upon her lips, and her head tipped slightly to the side as she suddenly changed the
Bellus Toxicum: subject. "You smell so good.." She murmured, nuzzling into him gently. If they had only one night together before they departed, she wanted to make the most of it. -
Ginger Complex: --He smiled towards her and nodded- "Morning is fine, let's just make sure we find a carriage with a roof so I can sleep." -She would know he was cranky during the morning, but could survive [Daywalker] but that was just how it
Ginger Complex: was and she mentioned teleporting and he nodded- "Phew eases the ride up." -A chuckle now and a nod as the boy felt her nuzzle into him and he smiled.- "Found some bath salts at the market, mixed cinnamon with vanilla...its nice
Ginger Complex: hm?" -He would ask as she nuzzled against him, and the boy traces fingertips through her hair now...reassuring her with his hand---the other was down below and caressed her hand, their fingertips locking, as he brought the hand to
Ginger Complex: his mouth and kissed it- "Got it just for you but i decided to use some myself...hehe."-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - His presence, his nearness allowed her to relax. Alone with her thoughts, she'd been overwhelmed, but having him to confide in, to count on, made all the difference. A soft laugh escaped her, and her lips pressed lightly to the
Bellus Toxicum: side of his neck. "It is a delicious scent." She murmured against his skin. "I'll have to use the salts later." She simply melted against him, letting her eyes close as his fingers caressed through her hair, a little shiver coursing
Bellus Toxicum: through her when his lips brushed her hand. Her fingers closed around his and she drew back for a moment, rising and giving his hand a gentle tug, a familiar light in her eyes and almost playful curve to her lips. -
Ginger Complex: --And the boy would allow himself to settle against her now....actually glad that he had met her, that she had come into his life. A lot of things were very hard there, and he would relax against her, sighing as she kissed his neck
Ginger Complex: and sighed softly now...and then the hands were pure in that motion as she pushed up and had that light in her eyes- "Hm and I did this to try and seduce you....seems like it did the trick." -A playful smile as well, as the boy
Ginger Complex: took her within his arms and headed towards where they rested..-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - She was eager to be in his arms and as they moved toward the bedroom, she was already kissing him, her mouth soft against his, her fingers twining with his as she drew him toward the bed. Her hand lifted then, brushing back his
Bellus Toxicum: damp hair. "I love you." She whispered against his lips, before her own traveled once again to his throat, teasing little nips given to his skin, until the backs of her knees hit the edge of the bed, and she paused, lifting her
Bellus Toxicum: head and meeting his gaze as she murmured. "I need you tonight." -
Ginger Complex: ---And well there was nothing more too say then his own night hadgoten a lot better---he had showered, and made sure he smelt sweet for such an adventure (except this time no one would die) and push came to shove, they would have
Ginger Complex: their own adventure- "I love you too." -He whispered gently as he smiled and they would come upon the bed and he looked upon her and smiled.- "Oh shoosh love....you need me every night" -He growled playfully and tackled her now
Ginger Complex: -[d]
Bellus Toxicum: [GM] - The night passed, all to swiftly, and the rising of the sun found the two preparing for the journey they would embark upon. Rations were set aside, and packs filled to anticipate any needs they might have. Arrangements were soon
Bellus Toxicum: made for the transporting of the two to Moira's own childhood home, though the nearest place they might be transported to was at least a three day journey by horse to the lands of Moira's father, four days to the keep where her
Bellus Toxicum: parents still lived (for the moment). Getting to the other side of the portal was the easy part. It was a good thing that Moira retained some of her previous wealth, as the coin of Eldon Heath would have no value here. Their first
Bellus Toxicum: task was to acquire transporation. As Habuki had said, they would need a roofed carriage, and the horses to pull it. They had arrived in a small town near the home of a resident mage, whom they would have to pursuade to give them
Bellus Toxicum: direction to a nearby stable where they could purchase what they needed. - [Open RP]
Ginger Complex: ---And thus he had become rested---relaxed and the boy had been a bit worn out [ some bruising but that would fade with time] and the next day they were up bright and early, ready to head out nto the wilderness that was the land of
Ginger Complex: the area now...it had been there that they had been transported to the newest area of being and had found themselves within range of the small town. Habuki landed with a huff, grumpy from all the no how and looked around.- "...No
Ginger Complex: hors.e..no carriage...moneys proll not good here, hm?" -He did seem grumpy, but he had a light smile for his loved one and that was all that mattered. A smile towards her, Habuki kept himself at arms edge now as the two of them en
Ginger Complex: tered the town-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - She smiled softly to her Buki, her hand reaching for his when they reached the other side of the portal. She understood his demeanor, she knew it was difficult for him to be out in the direct sunlight, and staying up during the
Bellus Toxicum: day was a hardship. "It is alright. You forget, here I was once a wealthy woman, my late husband ensured that when he died." She gave his hand a small squeeze. "We'll find something soon. Maybe someone there could give us
Bellus Toxicum: direction." She said quietly, as she motioned toward a small house they were approaching upon the road. -
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC] -The mage had been startled when the portal by his house had been activated and the two travelers had appeared. The old, white-haired man leaned upon a crooked staff, eyeing them suspiciously as they neared his house upon the
Bellus Toxicum: outskirts of the small town, while he stood upon his porch in dirty and tattered robes. He was half-blind, and couldn't tell if they were men or women, or even human. "What are you kids doing running around here? Get on now, this
Bellus Toxicum: is no place for youngins. Plague is coming, best go back the way you came!" He called at them. Whether they were adults or not didn't matter to him. Everyone was a youth in comparison. -
Ginger Complex: --And the boy nodded, he would be irritable until he found himself within a closed space..but for now? The boy would just have to deal with it! Looking around curiously upon the town, he was tempted to steal the first buggy and
Ginger Complex: horse, and he would od said something else about her husband [ that was obviously a grrr pozint for Buki ] but was interupted as the man startled him. Spining around now, th boy faced where he was and furrowed his brow.- "Yeah we
Ginger Complex: came her to investigate the damned plague...so who are you and what do you know about it....you smell like magic, old timer." -He nodded his head and looked at Miora once-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira fell silent as they approached the old man, her gaze scrutinizing him. He seemed harmless, but she wasn't ready to trust him further than she could throw him. Still, they needed information. "What do you know of the
Bellus Toxicum: plague?" She asked in a quiet tone, her hand gently pressing Buki's. She knew he was irritated, but it wasn't anything she could help right now. -
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC] -The old man grumbled, his gnarled fingers clenching briefly into a fist. "Old timer is it? Maybe I know something, maybe I don't. Why should I tell a little tyke like you? You don't look big enough to swat a fly." He grumbled
Bellus Toxicum: at Habuki. The boy had said he smelled like magic, but he could sense it on the two of them as well. He completely ignored the woman, dismissing her as beneath him, as many of the men here tended to do. "Go on now, take your little
Bellus Toxicum: trollop there and get on. This is no place for you." -
Ginger Complex: --Habuki could care either way....and he could throw him far. The boy looked towards the old man now as he was approached from the both of them, and those hands filed onto the top of his head now, relaxed a little bit. He would be
Ginger Complex: a bit frusturated....and the man did nothing more than frusturate him now as he growled hard.- "...Look....mister Tell me what you know about the damned plague...either that or provide us with some transportation, we're headed to
Ginger Complex: the Blackwoode's area from here and we need a horse, a carriage with a roof." -He stepped up, and proved he was more than capable of "not swatting a fly" the boys foot came up now and launched into a side of the fence now, attempt
Ginger Complex: ing to deliver a devestating kick now-[d] [ Target: Fence ]
OnlineHost: Ginger Complex rolled 2 60-sided dice: 57 48

Ginger Complex: "....Guess I swatted the fly on the fence"-[d]*
Bellus Toxicum: [GM]- The fence that surrounded the man's yard buckled under the kick, the boards splintering and going flying in multiple directions where the hit was directly taken, though the rest of that stretch of fence fell over into the dirt. -
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira bristled slightly at being called a trollop. She'd forgotten how abrasive the men could be, but she knew better than to keep trying to provoke the man by speaking up. When Habuki kicked down the fence, she gasped softly,
Bellus Toxicum: gently laying her hand upon his arm, her gaze pleading for him to calm. -
Ginger Complex: ".....Call her that again and I'll kick you like that...."- -He chimed towards the old man....he was mostly pissed that she was called a bad name.-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC] - "Damn kids!" He hollered. "Look at what you did!" The man was grumbling and muttering, tempted to blast a fireball at the boy, but age had some benefits, and while the old man was cranky, he was not a fool. "Fine! You want
Bellus Toxicum: to know about the damn plague, I'll tell you. But first, you have to answer a question for me." The old man smirked behind his beard. "That's the price for information." -
Ginger Complex: --Indeed he was mad...normally he'd shrug something off, but in the heat, the irritability, the anger cited to rise harder than before and the boy looked towards the man with that vivid gaze now....he would have no problem striking
Ginger Complex: the old man down now....and then he asked about a question now and Habuki sighed now, and nodded.- "Aye aye...just get it over with....I do not like being out in the sun---sensitive skin, y'know." -And his anger would calm down,
Ginger Complex: mostly cause the woman touched his arm and told him to cease the anger now which qunched from him.-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira bowed her head gently to the man. "Please, what is the question. We will answer it if we can." She gave Buki a faint smile, her gaze soft as her fingers once more found his. -
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC] The old man cackled a little bit and rubbed his hands together. "Very well. The man who invented it doesn't want it. The man who bought it doesn't need it. The man who needs it doesn't know it. What is it?" The mage riddled. -
Ginger Complex: --He nodded his head.- "....Well since your speaking to a vampire, this is an easy one.. The man who invented it doesn't want it....because its a coffin. The man who bought it doesn't need it cause he isnt dead. The man who needs
Ginger Complex: it doesn't know it cause he's dead. A coffin." -He was confident in his answer now as the boy looked over towards where the old man was-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira was actually rather stumped by the riddle, and she blinked a little when Buki answered so quickly, a smile slowly spreading across her lips. His answer certainly made sense, and her gaze flit toward the mage for his
Bellus Toxicum: reaction to the solution. -
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC] - The old man suddenly cackled with laughter. "A coffin! Of course! I should have known. Do you have any idea how long I've been trying to come up with the answer to that? Old Meldrum is going to be mighty put out that I have
Bellus Toxicum: the answer now." It seemed that the old man hadn't been trying to test them, but he wanted an answer to the riddle for himself! If he wasn't all that clever, he was certainly crafty. His chortling subsided, and he finally gave the
Bellus Toxicum: two what they were seeking. "Very well, since you gave me an answer, now I'll answer your questions. Three days to the east there's been trouble, people and animals dying, but yesterday, I heard that the sickness is moving this way,
Bellus Toxicum: creeping like. Another week and it will be here at the rate it's going." The man suddenly waved his hand, and the splintered fence began to repair itself as they spoke. "Stable in town is off the main road. Take the first left and
Bellus Toxicum: you'll come to it, but I still say you ought to turn back." -
Ginger Complex: "....Great you didn't even know the answer?" -The boy blinked, stumped for a second....it had been mostly because it made sense with death [Buki was in no way GOOD at riddles] and the boy shook his head a bit now before he waited
Ginger Complex: for the old man to answer him now...seems the plague was headed this way and soon enough things would begin dying here...and a stable off the main road they would come. The boy smirked at the old man.- "Turn back? Hell no...i
Ginger Complex: never say die and never say never...no damned plague is gonna stop me, we'll get back to taking it back." -He nodded and would bow.- "Thank you old timer, your wisdom is as long and as your date of birth." -And he turned around,
Ginger Complex: grabbed Mioras hand and began headed back to the main road-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira gently inclined her head to the man as they started toward the town. "Thank you, sir." She called back to him as she hurried away at Habuki's side. They needed to get him out of the sunlight. "Thank you for not harming
Bellus Toxicum: him." She said quietly. "I want to try to pass through here with as little notice as we can. If the sickness is moving this way, then there is something else going on. Why would the disease spread if someone was only seeking revenge
Bellus Toxicum: for the priest?" She questioned aloud. There was no evident answer to the question. -
Ginger Complex: "...yeah yeah, well he gave us the information we needed." -Habuki could survive a few hours within the sun, it didn't hurt...he just couldn't go on any extravagant beach adventures and catch a tan. The boy felt satisfied that the
Ginger Complex: two of them headed through and he nodde dhis head...being quiet was the best way to move...and thus the boy shrugged his shoulders, unable to find an answer.- "I dunno...maybe they wanna take everyone out?" -That was the only thin
Ginger Complex: g he could think of as they came upon the main road and he headed off in the directons the old man told him too.-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira was actually finding it difficult not to grin at him. She could tell he was grumpy, but he was actually pretty cute when he was irritable. She managed to surpress the urge, however, though amusement was gleaming in her eyes
Bellus Toxicum: as they headed toward the stable the man had directed them to. "We will figure it out." She said with determination in her tone. -
Bellus Toxicum: [GM] - Not far into town, the two would be able to find the stable the old mage had spoken of. It was not a great stable, or overly large, but would suffice for what they needed. The stablemaster came out to meet them, mopping his
Bellus Toxicum: brow with a handkerchief, and informed them that he had four mares that he could part with, and he had two conveyances, one was a carriage, the other an open buggy. If they wanted a driver, it was going to cost them more. -

Ginger Complex: really feel like it and then the man tried a high price.- "...287 gold? What the HELL kind of business are you running?!" -He growled at him now and smiled a "pleasant" smile.- "....Come on now, I'm sure you can go down on it...

Ginger Complex: --Habuki watched the woman move her price..he sure wasn't going to pay such a high price for such a weapon and grumbled even harder.- "You can take your driver and shove it up your ass---I know how to drive a damned horse ---"

Bellus Toxicum: - The satisfying crunch of bone beneath her foot left her rather pleased. Of course, that only caused them more problems, but at least now they wouldn't have to pay the high price the man wanted. Her cheek briefly tipped against his
Bellus Toxicum: hand when it touched her cheek. "I'd do the same if any woman ever tried to say something like that to you." She said quietly, but then quieted when he said he had an idea and her gaze flit back toward the body. "What should we do?"
Bellus Toxicum: -
Ginger Complex: [ Earth Wall - Tullarmancy - Wall appears to defense user from harm ] -Habuki mixed this magic with his own as he would open his palms out and focus---the master of elementalism now, the earth opened up around the ground of the
Ginger Complex: area where the body was now and it opened up.- "We do this." -And Habuki kicked the body down inside of the hole---he breathed deep and slappd his hands together now as the magic took work and the body was covered up, blood and
Ginger Complex: all by the fresh patch of ground around.- "Now only the horses saw us...don't need a rider, so it'll be us and the carriage." -No witnesses, it was better that way anyways.a smile was given as he nodded his head.- "Only you get t
Ginger Complex: to use me in trades." -A cute impish grin, as he walked towards the carriage-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: - A hot blush flooded her cheek at his words, a smile slowly forming across her lips as she gave a nod and moved toward the inner portion of the stable to gather the horses, pausing to brush a kiss lightly to his cheek. "Thank you."
Bellus Toxicum: She said softly, then continued on her way.-
Bellus Toxicum: [GM] -With the stablemaster dead and devoured by the earth, it seemed they had gotten away with the perfect crime. However, there was a witness. The driver the stablemaster had spoken of was peering out of the door of the stable
Bellus Toxicum: when Moira approached. A young boy, no more than eleven or twelve, he was bruised and rather dirty, the result of being employed by the brutish Angus. The two now had three choices, each would have their own consequences. They could
Bellus Toxicum: kill the boy as well and silence him. Caution him to silence and leave him, hoping he wouldn't speak. Or, they could pay him to drive the carriage and take him with them, ensuring he wouldn't tell. [Open RP]
Ginger Complex: ---The boy would of looked towards where she was now, and smiled towards her with a nod.- "..Well its true.." -A joke of course in its own nature, Habuki would look ahead towards where the area was, and wondered wherethe carriage
Ginger Complex: and all that were until he saw the boy now and shook his head.- "..Hm a good predociment...." -And indeed it was, Habuki was by no mans cruel and wouldn't wanna kill the boy, so he looked at the lad now and shook his head.- "What
Ginger Complex: do you wanna do, Miora?" -He would let the older more cold blooded of them decide and be with ehr 100 percent..just to make sure he didn't run,a hand did grip the boy by the collar and hold him-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC] -The boy squirmed when Buki laid hold of him, twisting to try to get out of his grasp. "I didn't see nothin! I swear it! I won't say nothin!" He was hollering, wide-eyed with fear. -
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira glanced up at Habuki, then down at the boy and she crouched down, coming down to eye level on the boy. "Hush." She said firmly, her tone brooking no argument, though it wasn't cruel. She studied the boy, taking in the
Bellus Toxicum: bruising, noting the abuse he seemed to have taken. "If you hadn't seen anything, there wouldn't be anything for you not to tell." She said in a quiet undertone. "Can you hitch the horses and drive the carriage boy?" She questioned
Bellus Toxicum: him.-
Ginger Complex: ---And thus Buki waited as he looked towards the boy now...and then watched Miora as she studied him for all intent and purposes now. Eyes of emerald turned towards where the boy was and waited for the woman to make her decision...
Ginger Complex: he honestly didn't wanna leave the boy behind only to face an assault after their adventure, so he opted taking him with them. The boy eyed the younger one with that cautious look.- "Seems your master beat you.....seems a horrid
Ginger Complex: way of living with such a brute..."-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC]- The boy looked up at the man holding him by the collar, his wide eyes pleading. He was terrified they were going to kill him, but at the woman's questioning, he nodded. "Yes, ma'am. I can drive it, I'm good with the horses." He
Bellus Toxicum: nodded emphatically, and then looked up again. "He was only mean when he was drunk." He said in excuse, not mentioning that he was drunk most of the time. -
Bellus Toxicum: - Moira finally gave a small nod and rose once more. "Alright, we'll take him with us. At least that way we know we won't have a mob after us when we leave town." She murmured. "Get the horses hitched and let's get moving, we have a
Bellus Toxicum: lot of ground to cover." She told the boy, before she moved to take Buki's hand. "I'll make sure he gets us moving. Why don't you get in the carriage my love, this sun is not good for you." She said in quiet concern. -
Ginger Complex: "..Mhm that works." -He honestly ddnt wanna spill any blood upon his hands and the boys head nodded as he watched the young one be told what too do. A hand brushed through his hair and a sigh came out- as he whispered towards the
Ginger Complex: woman now as he ehaded for the carriage.- "Stop being so beautiful, I dont like fighting this much." -Grumble grumble, and he walked towards the carriage, climbed himself in and into the darkness of the carriage he got---it was
Ginger Complex: nice and cool inside and he relaxed-[d]
Bellus Toxicum: [NPC]- The boy hurried to take care of the task put to him. Instead of the two broken down old nags the stablemaster would have sold them, he brought out the fastest and sleekest mares in the stable, and hurried to get them hitched under
Bellus Toxicum: the woman's watchful eye. He wasn't sure he liked her, she seemed rather cold. But he was still alive, and that was what mattered.-
Bellus Toxicum: -Moira only grinned at his whispered words, he was adorable when he was grumpy. As soon as he was in the carriage, she turned to watch the boy, making sure he did the job right, then when all was ready, she gave him directions to
Bellus Toxicum: head east toward her father's keep. She climbed into the carriage then, and felt it began to roll forward as soon as she was ensconced within, and she sat back, nestling against Habuki as they started off toward her family's lands.-
Ginger Complex: ---Habuki was rested within the thesdhold of the carriage space and that's all tha tmattered too him. They had gotten the horses, no gold was spilled and an old drunk was taken care of. Overall? He figured it had been a good day!
Ginger Complex: And thus an arm went around her shoulder as she came in, he nestled against her and the young boy would fall into a light doze as his own body snuggled against hers now- [d]
Bellus Toxicum: [GM] For the moment, they were safe, and undetected. Transporation had been acquired, and they had saved an orphan from an abusive employer. The day would begin to wear on, and they would travel forward with the idea that it would
Bellus Toxicum: be at least three days before they came into the affected lands. Due to taking on the extra person, Moira's rations would have to be shared, and four days of supplies would now only last two days. -

Ginger Complex: [ 16 damage ]

Ginger Complex: "..Hm...." -He would grumble a little bit now as the two of them came upon the stable now and eyed the man with a nod now.- "We needs ourself a carriage and horses.." -He simply put it, hoping Miora had the dough cause he didn't
Ginger Complex: really feel like it and then the man tried a high price.- "...287 gold? What the HELL kind of business are you running?!" -He growled at him now and smiled a "pleasant" smile.- "....Come on now, I'm sure you can go down on it...

Bellus Toxicum: out in trade.." He said suggestively, completely discounting the smaller young man. -
Ginger Complex: --Habuki watched the woman move her price..he sure wasn't going to pay such a high price for such a weapon and grumbled even harder.- "You can take your driver and shove it up your ass---I know how to drive a damned horse ---"
Ginger Complex: --And he stopped as the man mentioned fucking Miora and he growled.- "...First a Tropple, now this?" --And he would bring the blade out---hilt first as he rushed forth and slammed the hilt against the man's abdomen hard as he

Bellus Toxicum: should have just let it be. Maybe she should have shown some mercy, but that was a foreign word to her when it came to her honor. Even as the man lay upon the ground, her booted foot struck toward the man's face, with a vicious
