Ginger Complex: --The land of Greenspring was nice, it was also lush and
without much despair, but for the sake of safety there were a lot of people
around that still managed patrols. As our story opens, our adventurers were
riding through the
Ginger Complex: towns and enjoying themselves, for it was a lush and
beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky and even though it was Summer all
around, it felt more like springtime [ the breezes, the winds moving around]
and such The adventurers
Ginger Complex: would see something in the distance, a disturbance perhaps?
No...it just seemed like a crowd of people all gathered up together,
displaying over soething---the crowd was so large that from far away no one
was going to spot that---

Ginger Complex: --Habuki stretched those hands over the top of his head, one
hand petting Zephyrs head as he grnned- "A good haul yesterday huh?" -He
had almost got his hand froze off, but had found a priceless item [ now at
home stored away]
Ginger Complex: the boy stepped too inside of the crowds all around and
peeked his head around [ only 5'3"] he couldnt see above much, but the
sixteen year old perked upon his tippy toes as he looked around, curiously
displaying his own eyes in
Ginger Complex: various directions- "....Hm..."-[d]
seekthefallen: Coran was upon her horse today once again. She seemed to have
grown fond of him, as he of her. She slowed to a trot as she came upon the
crowd and spotted Buki within it. Curious boy, but he wasn't loud enough to
make things happen. "Excuse me folks! What is it that has our interest here?"
She said loud enough for the crowd to hear, even over their whispers. Many
times of speaking to cities worth of people, she supposed.
Ginger Complex: --Habuki blinked as Coran whipped around now, and he saw her
and smiled a little bit...His Master knew what too say in just the right
moment, and so he stepped aside now and waited for the anwer. Course she was
upon horse, so she
Ginger Complex: might be able to see better within the crowd, but right now
all he did was watch and wait for them too open up and show whatever was on
display---curious as he was.-[d]

Ginger Complex: --The crowd opened itselves up and revealed there were
several halflings, all of them seemed to be distraught and in some kind of
sadness welted over them. The point of their sadness was a man laying upon
the ground ( well what use
Ginger Complex: d to be a man) his body gone except the front part of his
torso and his head....he looked like he had been riddled and devoured whole,
then some parts spit out---as he was covered ina coating of saliva...the man
was Halfling and
Ginger Complex: the women and two men around him all cried and sobbed harder
than ever. The oldest one looked around at the voices.- "..Oh Woe is me
JohnnY Foodgenboggin---why did you have to try and be a patorlman?! You were
too short!!" -He
Ginger Complex: wailed now as he turned towards the one on horseman,
sobbing.- "Our Johnny has died!!.."-[d] [ OPEN PLAY ]
seekthefallen: Coran's eyes narrowed and she desattled and moved through the
crowd. When she was upon the scene, she said a quiet elven prayer and sighed.
"I am sorry for your loss. The poor thing looks like he was eaten..." She
wasn't the most sensitive person when it came to these sort of things.
Ginger Complex: --Habuki saw the scene and grimanced a little bit, he
watched as the man was revealed...and the crying people and would casually
brush a few strands back and nodded.- "Sad fate....sad fate, he was a
patrolman, you say?" -He would

the boy looked down at him and noticed the blue patrolmans uniform.- "Didn't
think this place was that dangerous...sheesh, what in the world could of done
all that?' -Mang

Ginger Complex: "....Ahem, I am sorry for your loss, but business needs to
be tended to. You two, come here." -Said a human male, he was in a
patrolmans uniform, taller and nodded with a grim smile.- "Our Officier
Johnny was taken down by the
Ginger Complex: rampant Dinosaur that is patrolling thesewoods....we warned
him not too go, but you know halfing.....so stubborn Anyways, we are trying
to locate a key he was in charge of...its...of grave importance too us and he
was the last one
Ginger Complex: with it in his posesssion....so we were trying to figure out
who wanted to take down this massive beast." -He nodded, trailed off and
looked over towards the both of them now.- "You two look like willing
participants...." -He
Ginger Complex: nodded his head, as the halfing Piped up.- "Find and bring
justice to Johnny's killer and I'll give you 500 GOLD!!" -The crowd cheered
at the thought of avenging Johnny and they all nodded their heads in

seekthefallen: Coran raised a brow as she listened to the human man speak.
"Dinosaur you say? What do you think Buki? Wanna give this thing a go?" She
raised a brow and smirked, her hand on the hilt of her dagger. "And 500gp on
top of that? Sounds like a hot deal."
Ginger Complex: --A shrug of the shoulderblades as he looked at Coran.-
"You up for a little dino hunting?" -It seemed like a simple task....but
Habuki knew things never seemed as easy as they looked With the price of
gold on the line [ and him
Ginger Complex: being broken..] the boy nodded his head a little bit towards
them now and smiled.- "Yeah we're game, just point us in the right direction
and we'll be off." -[d]
Ginger Complex: [ NPC ] -The patrolman smirked a little bit---looks like
these two would be good work and might actually make some short work of the
dino. He pointed to the south of town.- "The forest is just beyond that
trail, you head onwards
Ginger Complex: and you will run into the forest---the Dino usually hunts at
night, so since its day, you might run into him around.. There really isnt
any other hostile activity around aside the dinosaur---this place used to be
so peaceful until
Ginger Complex: it came around-[d]
seekthefallen: She nodded and moved to remount. "Come Buki, we better get to
findin this thing. I like to have peaceful places to visit." She grinned and
held her hand out, waiting for him.
Ginger Complex: --Habuki would keep his chin up now as he looked ahead and
watched Coran now- "We got ths." -After the attack on he Ankle biterbugs [
or however it was spelt] Buki had a good feeling about him and Coran as a
team His own weapons
Ginger Complex: were tapped upon the hitls [ for good luck] as he would soon
take the hand that was pushed out for him and lifted himself up. Riding
behind her, Buki hugged her around the waist now gently.- "So I don't fall
off!" -He defended as
Ginger Complex: as he would keep close, almost afraid of falling off of the

Ginger Complex: --The lands beyond the south were not really a bad area, as
they exited the town---the people gathered to collect the money, hoping for
the best, but expecting the worst. That dinosaur was ...HUGE and there was
not alot that they
Ginger Complex: could do beside each other....as they entered the forest
they would find the air crisp, the trees lush and around and there were even
streams heard in the distance. The people had been right on one thing--the
place WAS beautiful
Ginger Complex: and if no one observed---they honestly wouldnt thnk that a
place such as this existed such a disgusting creature as the dinosaur They
might have to look around a little bit for something of interest to even see
if the dinosaur was

seekthefallen: As they rode along, Coran sure Ranger wouldn't let Buki fall
off, not to mention she wouldn't either, she eyed the wood for something...
big and dino like. With a huff she squinted. "Can't miss something like that
right? From what I hear, Dino's were like... huge, right?"

forest---not much of a long walk and the lushness of the forest eneveloped
him and her now. Looking around curiously, he would sniff the air as he
settled himself looking over Coran
Ginger Complex: now as she mentioned huge, he chuckled.- "I believe they
are---soe are small but to devour th halfing like so it'd need to be bigger
than a house cat." -Granted Halfings WERE small-[d]

butt -.- Cause he sure wasnt checking out dino tracks were all around,
leading up into the distance north It wasn't much to go by, but it would be
strong enough lead to.

well relevant to the mission] and allowed his eyes to drift from Coran over
towards and reached in his case and took out a scroll. He read the scroll

damage ] --The scroll was put back inside of the case and tucked away- "You
focus on attacking, I'll try to distract it." -He whispered towards her, a
hand squeezed her

seekthefallen: Oh yeah, they were gonna follow the tracks that she'd
spotted, no matter how stupid that might be. She nodded to Buki's quesion.
"Yeah, some tracks on the ground. We're followin em now." She felt the
squeeze and rolled her eyes a bit. She wasn't worried, not like the mun was!

Ginger Complex: --And thus following the tracks now they would not be long
before the forest opened up a clearing [ although water could still be seen
and heard ] and the path took them along as they came to the end of the
clearing. In the distanc

something growled and snarled and there was some earth shattering slashed and
claws...a snap of jaws and then silence. As they neared closer they could
see the dinosaur was there,

boy." And a blast of hot energy blasted from her finger tips toward the gut

Ginger Complex: ---The dinosaur struggled, gasped now out loud as the beast
would teeter to the left, and then the right...the blood pouring from its own
side now---before the last struck in the gut sent it flying down---the beast
struck the ground
Ginger Complex: dead just as the last blow hit...the blow had struck the
stomach prett hard---the beast falling upon its own side, exposing the
stomach now With the dinosaur dead, the only truth was how and who was
going to get that damned key

seekthefallen: Coran wasn't scared to get dirty. She moved over to the
dino's exposed stomach and stuck her hand inside with a look of "OMG EEEEEEW"
on her face. She felt around until her hand came up something small, metal.
"Got it!" She pulled her arm out, past elbow deep it was, and now covered in
dino guts. She grimanced and jingled the key.
Ginger Complex: --Habuki looked over as the beast fell down and he grinned a
little bit.- "Got it!" -The last blow had been intense and despite the
damned armor it had, it was no match fo the power of science!....erm hack and
slash! Blade was
Ginger Complex: prepared to slice, whenever Coran went digging down inside
and found the key....a blink, he wiped the blade off now, and sheathed them,
as he walked over towards her, and took the key in one hand, and took a small
cloth and wiped
Ginger Complex: her hands off with a sigh.- "Silly Master....mmk, let's go
back, ok?"-[d]

seekthefallen: She nodded. "Yeah, lets go." She whistled for Ranger and he
came-a-runnin. She mounted, pulled Buki up, and they were off!
Ginger Complex: --And Habuki was back upon the horse now, sttled against
Coran as the two of them road away from the scene---the dinosaur had been
dead and the bejewled key was back in their poession now. With that said, he
was a bit tired and
Ginger Complex: leaned against Coran, as he struggled to keep awake. There
was no denying some sleep though as his form slumped against hers and he
snuggled too sleep---it was kinda odd the holy one with the undead one ina
friendship, but eh....

Ginger Complex: ---And thus they left the area of interest and headed back
towards the town---the people were outside the town waiting in anticipation
now, each of them curious as too the other of what exactly had happened In
the distance some had
Ginger Complex: heard roars and screams and some feared the worst...the
halfings were waiting out there now, even the patrolman as the horses were
now seen in the distance. Upon seeing, alot of them rushed towards the
horses- 'What happend? Did
Ginger Complex: it die? Wheres the key?!' -Each was curious in their own
way, surrounding the huge horse and looking up with fascination in each and
every one of their eyes-[d] [ Open play ]
seekthefallen: "Buki, give em the key. And yes, the beast is dead." Her arm
was still covered in guts, kay. Just a little wipe wouldn't take it all off!
She looked down at them with a smile. "No more dino."
Ginger Complex: --The journey wasnt too far, but the boy had slept the
entire way until the crowds awoke him now! The boy looked around in avid
curiosity at the situation and blinked a little bit, those emerald hues
taking their claim around as he
Ginger Complex: would shrug himself awake now and nodded. The key was taken
from his pocket and handed over towards the key marshall.- "We found traces
of your beloved inside, I am sorry for your losses.." -The halfings needed
some closure, but
Ginger Complex: he was glad [at least] that the beast was dead! The boy
smiled and nodded.- "Alls well, ends well."-[d]
Ginger Complex: [ GM ]
Ginger Complex: --The people of the town cheered and each of them were given
some gold [ 500 GOLD ] and with that, the townspeople were happy the
dinosaur was dead and there would not be anymore resistance around these
parts. Tomorrow a search
Ginger Complex: party would go look for any eggs [ destroying traces of a
vengnce of a family] and what not The patrolman took the key, nodded and
then reached into his pockt and took out 2 keys now---each one was silver.-
"The key you gave us
Ginger Complex: is of utmost importance too us....but here, this in exchange
for them. its called the Skeleton Key and it will unlock mundane or simple
locks for you guys---in your adventures Just dont use them for evil!" -He
warned with a good

you. Buki, I need to be off, are you coming?" She raised a brow.
Ginger Complex: "Thank you thank you!" -Gold plus a key? The boy took the
loot with a well placed smile and slipped the key upon a chain and hid it
under his shirt. Wiht that done, the gold was collected now as he leaned
upon his Masters horse
Ginger Complex: and hugged her and nodded.- "Mmhm, I am coming with you---I
need you to make me a glove that resists against cold, that way I can weild a
new blade i aquired last night I got the funds." -He squeezed her around
the waist and wait
