Halo of Noire: (Log ON)
Halo of Noire: (state your name and rank and dice)
Halo of Noire: (Let No Man Put Asunder - Mission)
Halo of Noire: Melantha d'Syr - Grinja Defender - 2d60
FeraIPrince: -= William Alexander Von'Dire - Grinja Defender - 2d60 =-
Halo of Noire: The note had come to Emmarie first, and then was passed off
to Melantha as apparently she thought this was 'perfect' for her and William
to handle. The whole situation made Mela snicker, but it was a mission and
they'd get paid. And
Halo of Noire: she wanted more gold. Plus, any chance to spend time with her
beloved, was just fine with her. With the note in hand, she went to find
William and see if he was up for this little challenge. Though finding
William was always the
Halo of Noire: tricky thing. Spinning that red bracelet on her wrist, she
would attempt to use it to create a union of sorts, and seek him out through
his blood. Though first, she dressed herself for the situation, choosing a
little different
Halo of Noire: attire for such a diplomatic situation. Heavy boots, hidden
beneath a long, slightly loose skirt giving her ease of movmeent in case
battle ensued, and a tight bodice that was quite fashionable and just a
little risque because it
Halo of Noire: was Mela after all. Hair done up in a loose bun, eyes all
edged in kohl, and the needful red lipstick upon her plush lips she was ready
for action! "Oh William, sweet kitten, where are you?" /d
FeraIPrince: That was the odd thing. Sometimes one could not find the feline
for the life of all they cared for, at others....one simply would need to
speak his name. As Melantha did just that, not only the sound, but the word
poured from those
FeraIPrince: sweet lips. Quite literally, his name, rolled out to linger
upon her breath, stirred like leaves in the fall.
W...i.....l....l....i...a...m...they swirled and twisted, altering their form
and depth. The l's joined at the tips and
FeraIPrince: moved down to become legs. The m thickened in the center, and
straightened out the edges become a torso. The i's twisted into arms and the
dots to hands. Until from his name stood the creature, a wide cheshire grin
upon his face as
FeraIPrince: he looked down over to her. His own clothing showing his noble
upnringing, jacket and trousers a soft grey, the shirt and the spats atop
those black leather riging boots tucked beneath the trouser legs stark white
as bone, and
FeraIPrince: upon his chest coming down from the neck an elegant neck tie
of deep black and splashes of grey. "I told you my sweet, all you need do
was speak my name and I shall come."
Halo of Noire: Oh what a delight was her creature, and she just watched as
he yet again was able to appear in a different way than he had ever before.
Such a strange and wonderful thing it was, that caused a crooked smile upon
her lips. As he
Halo of Noire: appeared dripping from his very name, she cast an appraising
look down his body and back up again, giving him a wink. "We'll discuss you
coming later, my darling. For now, we have a task set before us. Are you
interested in a little
Halo of Noire: adventure and mischief?" She grinned and stepped forward. By
the gods she was getting a damn kiss this time! He had teased her silly about
it and she needed kisses. As much as she needed air, or blood, or his body
next to hers.
Halo of Noire: "Now kiss me you fool, and then let's go cause some trouble
for a marriage." She puckered up and held the note from Emma out to him. /d
FeraIPrince: Leaning down he would tenderly set his lips to hers, allowing
for the kiss to deepen only long enough to calm her nerves. Truth be told,
had he lingered any longer he would have not at all wanted to go anyplace but
where they could
FeraIPrince: be alone and away from prying eyes. Turning his attention to
the note he would hold it up and read it over. "How truly odd, I do wonder
what it is that caused this."
Halo of Noire: "As do I, but I don't trust hags of any sort. At all. And
while I am not so superficial as to believe that only looks count, why would
a noble wish to marry such an ugly beastly thing as that?" She shook her head
Halo of Noire: and gave him a lovely smile. The kiss was very appreciated,
and she was quite fine with it being a brief thing for she was nearly always
wanting for more. But they had a task, she offered her hand to him. "You
driving, or am I?" She
Halo of Noire: could shadow step, or teleport, and he had his ways. She left
it up to him.
FeraIPrince: He let a small slip of laughter pass from between parted lips
as he shook his head. "It is not vain to say that looks are what is needed,
it is only the taste in them that is changed. As for the mannert in which we
are to travel, I
FeraIPrince: would feel most pleased should you guide our ride. Let us mount
the task and see what comes. Shall we?" He leaned down a little, allowing
for those shifting blue eyes to swirl and shift. Drawing in the spider as
surely as her own
FeraIPrince: net had caught him.
Halo of Noire: She stared at him and a dark brow lifted, her smile growing
broader. Staring into his eyes, she was already taken with him and he had to
go and be all sexy like that didn't he? She shook her head slowly and reached
out and took his
Halo of Noire: hands in her own, bringing them up to her lips to plant a
soft kiss upon the knuckles. Even as she did so, the shadows overwhelmed
them, swirling and shifting even as his eyes did, from bottom to top clasping
them both in the
Halo of Noire: cool arms. Even as they succumbed to the shadows, her voice
would very softly be heard. "It would be ecstasy to allow me such an honor as
to mount this task together, hold tight my love." And the darkness would
caress them both and
Halo of Noire: they would appear before the manor of House Vadalis, right
upon the front steps. Her lips parting from his knuckles as they appeared,
she turned about and brushed one hand along the dark blue silken skirt, and
pale grey bodice with
Halo of Noire: blue lacings, making sure everything was in place, and then a
knock was placed upon the door. /d
FeraIPrince: "I have no intent of doing anything less than that. Less it be
to switch positi....." He let his words trail away, something he never,
ever did. As her hand knocked softly upon the door he turned his full
attention upon the door.
FeraIPrince: His mind working in various circles, twsiting and following
numerous paths and hundreds of ideas simultaneously. There were several
things needed for a proper wedding. Entertainment and music, first and
foremost. So nodding slightly
FeraIPrince: he would set one hand against the small of Melantha's back as
he stepped towards her. Awaiting those within to allow them audience.
Halo of Noire: She peered over at him at the lingering words, and a dark
brow lifted. Though she'd knocked and now the task was at hand. Wedding
planners, who would have thought. The last wedding Mela had attended, she'd
worn full mourning
Halo of Noire: clothing, including a black veiled hat and handkerchief. She
tried so hard to create a sweet smile on her lips but that crooked smile
would not go away. The door opened, a butler stood there, tall and somber
like all good
Halo of Noire: butlers. His brow lifted as he looked down upon them. "Yes?"
FeraIPrince: William smiled that charming and flawless smile, bending down
as he tucked his hands into the small of his back. Giving the butler a small
but polite bow before speaking. "My good Lord, such an event as a wedding
needs to have the
FeraIPrince: finest entertainers in all the land. We are nothing less than
that, for nothing less than that purpose. So please allow us your aid in
finding company with your master. We have words to share with him and coin to
discuss. After all,
FeraIPrince: nothing comes cheaply, and we are more than nothing."
Halo of Noire: William was the smooth talker, she'd cuss 'em all out, so she
gave the butler a smile and allowed William to speak at this point. Perhaps
he was even known in these parts. Gwendren was the capital of the kingdom
where they resided
Halo of Noire: after all. She curtsied when William bowed, and peered up at
the tall kh'ronen. "The wedding musicians. Wonderful." Though his words did
not seem all that thrilled with the prospect though from the look of the
Halo of Noire: man he was never thrilled. He stepped aside, motioning with
his hand. "Come, the master is in his study." After they entered, the door
was closed behind them and he folded his gloved hands behind his back and
walked down the hallway
Halo of Noire: to a closed door. Hand reached out and knocked, and then the
door was opened and he stepped in. "M'lord d'Vadalis, the wedding musicians
you sent for are here and wish to discuss payment for their
Halo of Noire: services." He stepped aside, and they could see in towards
the Patriarch of House Vadalis, Dalin d'Vadalis.
FeraIPrince: He stood by a large bay window, his whole body near vibrating
with excitement. The concept of marriage something that pleased the Lord.
Turning he looked over the pair, his eyes lingering upon William for a
fraction longer. "Have
FeraIPrince: we met?"
FeraIPrince: William could only chuckle softly as he gave a slight tip of
his head forwards. "Perhaps, though my good Lord, what affairs one such as
I, William Alexander Von' Dire (Skill: Reputation Precedes), has...they must
be set aside in
FeraIPrince: such a time. After all, we have the entertainment section of
your wedding to discuss." William took several steps away from Melantha,
looking over to her with a sly wink. "My love, introduce yourself please.
This way we are all
FeraIPrince: on an equal page before we begin."
Halo of Noire: She stepped further in the room, nodding towards William as
she was asked to introduce herself. "And I am Melantha d'Syr, my Lord, and
pleasure to meet you. William and I are thrilled to be working with you and
your prestigious
Halo of Noire: family in this regard." She glanced over towards the butler,
who simply closed the door and took post outside the door, hands folding
behind his back again. Once the door was closed, she turned back towards the
Vadalis senior and
Halo of Noire: allowed the finery of the room, the richness of the curtains,
the expensive carpets, even the crystal decanter of wine upon his desk all be
seen. It was wealth, but not terribly overstated, which meant he probably was
Halo of Noire: a truly wealthy man and not an upstart attempting to look
wealthy and noble.
FeraIPrince: The Lord blinked several times as he heard the two mention
their names. They were Head Masters of the academy, and one of them the son
and heir of the founder of the most funded and reliable adventuring party.
Not to mention what
FeraIPrince: he had heard in regards to William's own doing. A noble doing
another noble a service. This would cost, but for his lovely hag-wife (not
that he thinks of her as such) there was no cost too great. "Most honored to
have you two as
FeraIPrince: guests, please tell me what you can do, and what you think an
appropriate billing."
FeraIPrince: William held a hand out near up to his face, looking down the
length of his nose to inspect just beneath the fingernail. Nothing could be
seen, but it did not stop the feline from preening. After all, a porper
amount of time needed
FeraIPrince: to pass so that he could slowly build up his spell. Spells
delievered to life slowly were less likely to raise an eyebrow than ones
slammed into reality. (Spell: The Cat's Meow - Target: Self - Effect: +3 To
listed skill set tests)
FeraIPrince: Slowly he turned those wide and cunning eyes, handsomely
applied to a face above a completely disarming smile. Words, soft as velvet,
rich as fresh chocolate, and smooth as silk poured from honeyed lips to fill
the ears of man and
FeraIPrince: woman. He knew that poor Melantha would suffer the effects of
his charm as well, but he could deal with her side effects at a later time.
(Skill: Alluring Tongue: +5 Diplomacy) "My good Lord, you have no doubt
heard of us. By such
FeraIPrince: you must have heard of our prowess in the arcane. Through our
combined efforts we will host you a wedding that none other, not even those
of fabled hero past can compare. Forever and for-always shall the name of you
and your
FeraIPrince: betrothed be whispered in the same line as true love and
heart's desire. You two will become as Xelantha is to magic in this world. Of
that we can assure you, and for that we charge no less than a meager
FeraIPrince: four thousand gold coin." With a lavish gesture of his hand,
before all those in the room floated a wide based glass of a deep red wine.
The drink aged in thick oak barrel for the proper amount of time, and the
glass already
FeraIPrince: allowed for the wine to breath. All one needed to do, was reach
out and then sip. "Each." (Diplomacy Roll: Combined Total Boost = +8)

Halo of Noire: (William has succeeded)
Halo of Noire: Serra Katra was wearing her human skin tonight, and such a
lovely skin she'd chosen for the evening. Long, silken dark hair, and tanned
curvy flesh, clad in the tightest little dress she could manage,
Halo of Noire: dripping of diamonds she'd been given from her fiance.
Humming a soft tune, she moved down the stairs, dragging her fingers along
the paintings that lined the wall, giving a little flick of her
Halo of Noire: finger against some of their faces, as a sinful smile
presented themselves. She was heading for the study....but the tall looming
figure of the Butler stopped her. "Oh come now, Bartleby, I need to speak
Halo of Noire: with Dalin about my wedding gown. I am unhappy with the one
I've bought.... and I wish another. It is URGENT. Now, move." But the butler
shook his head and stared down at her, narrowing his blue eyes.
Halo of Noire: Melantha turned to face William, she did not need any help in
thinking he was an alluring and intriguing and desirable creature than he
already was, but she was not immune to the charm and so he would find her
gazing at him with
Halo of Noire: longing in her violet eyes, lips slightly parted as if
hanging upon each and every word he said -- which she most definitely was! As
he spoke and worked his skills with his tongue, she drew in a breath and
stepped closer to him, if
Halo of Noire: only to draw in his scent and be nearer so that she could
touch him. Giving a shake of her head, she attempted to release the cobwebs
of desire she held so that she could do this job and reluctantly pulled her
gaze away towards the
Halo of Noire: elder noble, watching to see if he would come around. The
price sounded......very very nice.
FeraIPrince: "I assure you, that is no slumgullion. That is nothing less
than the finest cabernet that the mind can conjure." (Note..WoTD: 1 AP)
William looked down into his glass from over the rim, bringing it up so that
he could delve the
FeraIPrince: scent of the wine deeply into his chest. As he exhaled, words
sweeter than the wine found Melantha's ears. "Upfront. As a matter of fact,
if it pleases you my Lord, this very moment. so that we tarry not upon proper
detail."
FeraIPrince: At the same time he was coiling a question in his mind seeking
the answer. But why sever the tie before the payment? It would be folly of
the purest sense.
Halo of Noire: Oh yes, wine, she had been dreaming of far sweeter tastes
than the wine, but she reached out and grasped the wine glass and brought it
to her lips, taking a sip. No, this was definitely no slumgullion, but did
she expect any less
Halo of Noire: from a man with the tastes of her beloved? (WotD!) She
stepped forward, her hand held out, she would take the gold for William had
other things to tend to, she waited to see if he would offer it. The sound of
a voice of a woman
Halo of Noire: outside the door caused her to glance towards the closed door
a moment, then a knowing glance to William and back to the Lord. Waiting.
FeraIPrince: The noble nodded his head, and even started slightly as the
wine appeared. Reaching out he took the glass and tasted of the delicious
wine. The price was neither too steep, nor too cheap. The offer delivered
with poise, grace, and a
FeraIPrince: subtle nobility to it. Standing he moved over to the far
writing desk pulling out a small bag with several diamonds meant for his
beloved. Handing the bag to Melantha (Note: The bag has gems that equal up to
exactly 8k to be split
FeraIPrince: evenly between the magi) "You have a deal Master Von' Dire and
Lady d'Syr. So tell me of your plans. I think I may hear her now truth be
told. We must be quick."
FeraIPrince: "What is it that binds you to her?" William's words carried a
weight to them, something arcane slipping between the spaces and breaths of
his body. (Spell: Cabalistic Font - Target: William's Question - Effect: The
true anser to
FeraIPrince: one question. - The question was spoken aloud)

Halo of Noire: The bag taken with a graceful movement and a bow of her head
offered. "Thank you sir, you will not be dissapointed. It is beyond the scope
of our ability to do so." She stepped back, fingers manipulating the bag and
very quickly to
Halo of Noire: see just how many were in there, giving a bit of trust to not
open the thing and peek in, though she was pretty damn good at figuring out
things from running the Emporium. She nodded to William, and then took
another sip of her wine
Halo of Noire: Serra was not happy with Bartleby and rushed past him,
grabbing the door and sweeping in before he could stop her. He was not beyond
manhandling her, but he'd already gotten in trouble for such from the master
and so he merely
Halo of Noire: narrowed his eyes and moved in after her, remaining silent as
he now stood by the open door. Serra paused as she saw people within, a brief
glance to Melantha but a much longer glance to William, her eyes sweeping
down his body and
Halo of Noire: back up again with quite the promiscuous look to them. "Oh,
darling, I see you have guests. Mmm...and I wanted to talk to you." She moved
towards Dalin, but surreptitiously trailed her fingertips along William's
back and shoulder as
Halo of Noire: she moved past (Aura of Lust) attempting to manipulate him as
she did all men. Moving around towards her fiance, she leaned and planted a
kiss to his cheek. (Aura of Lust on Dalin as well). /d
Halo of Noire: (Answer: She has enchanted him with her Aura of Lust and
magical charm.)
Halo of Noire: Mela's eyes narrowed dangerously as she saw that woman sweep
in and touch her beloved. She was not the jealous type, but she was a Charmer
herself and that teasing touch that she saw standing behind them brought her
ire, though she
Halo of Noire: merely drew in a breath and remained quiet and still for now,
though her keen gaze did not leave Serra.
FeraIPrince: When he felt himself touched, he felt the slight pull towards
this creature. Though rather than follow her head over heels, he knew beyond
doubt she was a vile and wicked thing. Getting her way through seduction and
devious magics.
FeraIPrince: Chuckling softly as he spied the glare from Melantha he would
only nod his head. This time there was no subtle gesture, no hiiden card
beneath the hand. The pupils of his eyes slitting dow into thin obsidian
lines as he reached down
FeraIPrince: into the depths of Serra's mind. Ripping open doors, tearinf
away the locks, a wild a feral mass of psionic energy rending the soft tissue
of the body's most precious organ. The effects of his spell would leave Serra
altered for a
FeraIPrince: span of time long enough where she would flle to the furthest
ends of the land to escape them. (Spell: Problematic Junction - Target:

FeraIPrince: (Failed. The effect is Severe Androphobia. A fear.....of men)
FeraIPrince: "Farewell Lady Serra." William took one step towards her,
placing her between himself and the other man in the room.
Halo of Noire: Serra stared across at Melantha, a sly grin forming, though
her eyes widened as she felt something enter her mind, like a wild feral
beast ripping into her precious thought processes. She growled, and her head
moved side to side,
Halo of Noire: her hands reaching upwards to grab the side of her head as a
horrific scream echoed from her. Her skin began to split, falling away from
her horrendous body as well as her clothing as the skin sloughed off, sending
her spinning and
Halo of Noire: slamming into a corner, knocking over several precious vases
and books off the shelves in the process. "What.... you ...." She peered
between the men, and for the first time in her life, she was afraid. Utterly
and completely
Halo of Noire: terrified. The skin ripped off her fingers, half of her face
fell to the floor, leaving the green hag there with huge bulging eyes full of
fright. She ran towards the door, yet the hulking bulter was there standing,
seemingly amused
Halo of Noire: for once in his life. She spun around again, folding her arms
around her body, and ripping the diamonds and necklaces off her forcefully,
before lunging for that large window and plunging out right through the
glass. The last that
Halo of Noire: would be seen of Serra Katra, famed green hag, was a green
skinned beast running for the sea just as fast as her feet could take her!
FeraIPrince: William would extend an arm to Melantha as he prowled over to
his beloved. A small flick of his free hand and a prewritten scroll that
requested for a summons of both Melantha and himself was seen upon the far
desk. "Should you
FeraIPrince: ever find yourself in need again. Perhaps though before it gets
to such a level, you may beseach the aid and wisdom of your butler. Now if
you will excuse us, my Lord. We must pay our respects to your family, then we
are off to
FeraIPrince: enjoy the company of each other."
Halo of Noire: "No one fucks with Lord William Von'Dire." She grinned, and
extended her arm, taking Williams and offering a nod of her head to both the
shocked man, and the amused butler. It seemed their work was done, and no one
even had to wear
Halo of Noire: white! She leaned closer to him, grasping still that bag of
gems, and allowed him to lead her where he wished to go.

OnlineHost: FeraIPrince has entered the room.
Serra - Save 17+ - Effect: As stated in spell...sending spell)
