"Land Ho!" The mate in the crow's nest called, just at the peak of the midday sun and the bustle of the ship picked up the pace, preparing now for the last leg of their trip. Alessa had scored a sweet ride on this ship for minimal work on her part, which was simply to make sure the ship got where she wanted it to. The Captain was an old friend so she just called in a favor, which she still wasn't entirely sure he was too happy about. He'd just have to deal with it, wouldn't he?
A grin spread over her face as uncovered eye spied the piece of land that had been spotted, then compared it to the map she'd unrolled. The parchment looked worn and was beginning to fray at the seams, but it was still readable so that's all she cared about. "Finally." She sighed, this trip had taken a little too long and though she didn't have to guard the ship from too many rival pirate ships, it was time for it to be done and over with.
The Captain was barking orders like a demon on a rampage and the crewmen busted their butts keeping up with his demands. In the meantime, Alessa ducked down to the galley for a quick meal before standing point and watching the ship sail closer to the coast of Baelsnath. Later that evening, she could feel the ship slow as the waters got shallower and that brought her back on deck to check their status. Chuckling once she got a load of the scenery, she moved to clap the Captain on the back. "Good job, Spinner. This is where I get off." A hand extended, and at first the man thought she wanted to handshake, but at the last moment she tilted it as a hand out, wiggling her fingers gesturing him to hand over the payment. He grumbled while she grinned and the gold pieces were handed over in a small coin purse. "Thanks and now we're even."
Sashaying away down port side and shouted for the men to drop anchor. She wouldn't need a boat to disembark but they'd need the anchor for their own safety. They all knew what Alessa was by this point in the trip, so each crouched down as the winds picked up and a huge bolt of lightning touched down on the woman. The light grew, grew, and grew still until a huge golden dragon silhouette pushed off from the sea craft causing it to sway under her bulk and she was in flight. Dragonalessa was heading for the coastline and swooped down probably scaring a few natives on her way to landing but once she'd cleared the coastal area she returned to her human form.
"Oh shut up, you'll get out longer next time." She said seemingly to herself, answering herself with a gutteral snarl. The blonde woman wearing an eyepatch and speaking in low tones at herself made her way up the dirt path leading to the Inne, where she had been directed to once she had been accepted as a citizen of this realm. Boots backpeddled slightly to take a look at the post on the door, and grinned mentally making note of it before heading inside to check in at the front desk and possibly get an ale.
