ready for the class session about the Inner Planes.
TarnishedWarlord: Lithel made a slow, steady entrance into the arena. His
eyes drifting around, shifting from left to right, taking in all those that
gathered, though he knew only one. Infact, it was really the reason he had

magical spell or item that provides clean air for you to breathe. As you look
around on this plane you will see a myriad of burning funeral pyres with
undead burning upon

which makes sense. It's quite rare to find pockets of other elements here but
not impossible such as a small pocket of air. The closer you get to Fire the

well as other beings of smoke and fumes. A paraelemental lord lives here in
what is called the Choking Palace. He is called the Smoldering Duke and is

And with that, she made motion to the illusionary screen that yes she had
forgotten to use for smoke, but now the plane of magma was visible for them

questions, an intent listen focusing on learning, raising chin for better
view to the plane before their eyes.

Morwyn Briggan: One plane she would not dare to visit...the name Ooze alone
was not a very good selling point for timeshare presentations.

visual aid she was using, an illusion of Ooze there..." It is an endless
ocean of muck. All mud and slime, sometimes clay that sucks you up and

choking on lungfuls of stagnant silt. Kinder souls may merely imprison them
here in little bubbles of air -though if water and food are forgotten it

hunting on this plane. What they hunt, I do not know."

plane of Minerals. It is the same as Earth in that it is a land mass with
pockets of air, water, and the like, but instead of being earthen it has
sharp edges of gemstones,

Halo of Noire: gold, silver, and every other type of mineral. a dwarven's
dream. Now it's not easy to get to all this, or it'd be gone by now. Moving
through this plane is near impossible without assistance, and one could be
lost in it's caverns
Halo of Noire: until they die or eternity. Dao, mineral mephit, pech, xaron
and xorn all call this place home. Everything fossilizes quickly here, if you
are there for too long you begin to turn to stone."
Morwyn Briggan: She had to bite her lip on that one, imagining Dimitri who
would care less if he were lost...the bird would think he already died and
went to heaven being surrounded by shinies.
Halo of Noire: "Or perhaps gemstone... Now to Steam. Though it is called
steam it isn't a sauna, it is more cool than hot. More like a land of mists.
There is no up or down, you decide same as on Air. It is a clammy, thick mist
that sticks to

gnomes who resided in the Underdark or areas surrounding it.

Vacuum. We were comparing the Negative Energy Plane with Vacuum. As the neg
plane is rife with death, vacuum is truly just...nothing. No breath, no
light, no sound, no
Halo of Noire: warmth. The ultimate in nothingness. As I said last week,
there is conjecture that beings of pure thought live here but never proved.
Ash is similar to Smoke, an endless sea of cinder and ash and inhabited by
undead. You can't

far from this plane; several underscores marked the name to iriterate the
point.
Halo of Noire: breathe here. The demigod Vecna is said to be imprisoned here
in a citadel near the negative energy plane.

Warden Hashibara: Hmm, interesting; she mused.
Halo of Noire: "We have a few more. Now on to Dust, the quasielemental plane
whereupon you enter you begin to disintegrate, to break up into even more
dust upon the area. Things swim through this ocean of sand and dust, such as
dune stalkers, and
Halo of Noire: there are sandlings, sand men, and dust mephits in abundance.
Random pockets of negative energy are a danger, and those that live here
often hunger for real flesh. One more... Salt."
Halo of Noire: "A sea of salt, a dangerous plane as when you arrive the salt
begins to pull the moisture from your body in the sea of salts. Your skin
begins to shrivel, your lips begin to crack, the moisture in your eyes
deserts and the ability
Halo of Noire: to blink is negated. As you travel upon Salt your very being,
and everything upon you begins to be encrusted with salt. Being able to
breathe is not the main problem, as you msut be able to stave off the
dehydration. Water you bring

salty. The only known creatures are salt mephits. Of course, some of you may
be asking why do i need to know about the planes? Well, perhaps
Halo of Noire: you don't need to know and you will never step foot in them,
but some of you will find yourself there at some point. Perhaps even on a
Halo of Noire: Thursday night." Grins a little and shrugs. "But regardless,
I think knowing more about the multiverse is merely a means of knowledge and
the more knowledge you know the better you are. And you never know when you
might be in a
Halo of Noire: trivia challenge and the question might be what plane lies
between the Plane of Earth and Water. Now, I'll take questions or comments."
TarnishedWarlord: Hearing about the plane of salt Lithel shivered visibly.
His normally all smiles turned into a deep frown. Those black eyes looking
down just a moment, taking note in his mind on what this plane was. He'd even
have to put to memory
TarnishedWarlord: just where it was located in the near future. Being who he
was, and what he knew his body was changing into, salt was very much the only
thing he would avoid at all costs. Even the plane of fire, magma, and smoke
were childs play
Amuiril Travm: He raised a hand, finally.

TarnishedWarlord: compared to Salt in his mind. Never the less he turned to
see Emma there, feeling the bump she gave him earlier, but not wanting to
interupt the lesson. Smiling softly to her now he gave a slight bow of his
head, only to turn his

TarnishedWarlord: attention back to the lesson, and those asking questions.
Amuiril Travm: "While mages are able to call forth elementals from
their named planes easily... Why is it that elementals never seem to cross
into the prime material on their own?"
Amuiril Travm: "If the plane of water is the source of all water, for
example, why do the seas not rage with active Water Elementals?"

Halo of Noire: "Of that, I don't know Amuiril, to be honest. It's really
only when one of the planes juts into our Prime that we see that. Such as
what I heard of in Eden when the plane of Ice broke into their desert and the
imprisoned demoness
Halo of Noire: was released. Or think of the Witherlands filled with the
undead and other elemental creatures from various planes due to the upheaval
of the planes there. I know crazy things happen when the planes hit our Prime
but as far as why
Halo of Noire: they don't travel here otherwise I'm not sure."
Warden Hashibara: Bowing, she had to make her exit for now. Things that
needed to be done and such.

for their escape from their own Plane. The reason the seas do not rage with
Water Elementals is because they can and usually are dismissed back to their

other planar creatures such as planar dragons, even demons and the like."
Amuiril Travm: He nodded calmly. "My own power seems to support this.

Halo of Noire: "The Inner Planes are largely inhospitable to us, though
necessary in many ways. In a few weeks I will speak on the Outer Planes,
perhaps later in December. I'm not sure yet. But the Outer Planes can be
quite hospitable on many of

about my elemental half so... what would that mean for me .. considering all
that they just said?" She scratched her head, confused.
Exalted Emerald: This was very interesting to her for she was going to be
heading to the planes soon herself to retrieve some items with a few folks.
She glanced aside to Lithel and gave the Spinel a smile. "Y'allal, didn't
expect to see you here,

question, eyebrows drawn together as she drew on her mental studies to
perhaps answer it.
Halo of Noire: "When elementals or other outsiders come to the prime, or we
go there, and in some way a child is born.... since you are half elemental
that means one parent is an elemental - there are also those whose roots lay
in the elements

and outsiders have no effect on her."
TarnishedWarlord: He smiled all the more to Emma, only to shiver a bit more
visibly again when he had a thought, only to make his thought known. "As long
as we never go to the Salt plane...I could not face such a place. Anything

does make a world of difference."

seekthefallen: "I'm not quite sure. My father had said something about
my mother disappearing once I was conceived. So I have no idea." She
pouted.

Oratio and gave him a pat on the shoulder, then listened to the discussion
going on.

how I came about. My father killed my mother before I could learn anything
from her."
Halo of Noire: "Was your mother the elemental?"

TarnishedWarlord: Well, Lithel decdied he'd ask anyway. Turning, he lifted a
hand just slightly for a second, only to speak up and make his question
known. "I find myself in a like situation, though far different as well.

small pause, only to smile a little more, proud of what he could do, as a
Ag'kh'ron it seemed more than fitting. "I belive that I am changing into that
of a Water Elemental.
TarnishedWarlord: Though I am concerned that once the change fully takes
place I may be forced to live on the Plane of Water." Not that he'd really be
upset about that, but he would hate to give up his state of Oratio, or leave
his friends for good
TarnishedWarlord: to do so. Emma though was given another smile at her
comment, before he responded to her as well. "Oh? That is very good news
indeed." And his maners seemed to of slipped, but he remembered them just
now. "How are you doing this

he couldn't fight back the minor darkening of his cheeks while he blushed

garou's bite could infect with lycanthropy but the worlds are crazy places
and perhaps you were inundated with the energy of water and it is slowly
shaping you into

forgotten to use for smoke, but now the plane of magma was visible for them

questions, an intent listen focusing on learning, raising chin for better
view to the plane before their eyes.

hunting on this plane. What they hunt, I do not know."

plane of Minerals. It is the same as Earth in that it is a land mass with
pockets of air, water, and the like, but instead of being earthen it has
sharp edges of gemstones,

Halo of Noire: gold, silver, and every other type of mineral. a dwarven's
dream. Now it's not easy to get to all this, or it'd be gone by now. Moving
through this plane is near impossible without assistance, and one could be
lost in it's caverns
Halo of Noire: until they die or eternity. Dao, mineral mephit, pech, xaron
and xorn all call this place home. Everything fossilizes quickly here, if you
are there for too long you begin to turn to stone."

would care less if he were lost...the bird would think he already died and
went to heaven being surrounded by shinies.

steam it isn't a sauna, it is more cool than hot. More like a land of mists.
There is no up or down, you decide same as on Air. It is a clammy, thick mist

Vacuum. We were comparing the Negative Energy Plane with Vacuum. As the neg
plane is rife with death, vacuum is truly just...nothing. No breath, no

Halo of Noire: warmth. The ultimate in nothingness. As I said last week,
there is conjecture that beings of pure thought live here but never proved.
Ash is similar to Smoke, an endless sea of cinder and ash and inhabited by
undead. You can't

far from this plane; several underscores marked the name to iriterate the

Halo of Noire: breathe here. The demigod Vecna is said to be imprisoned here
in a citadel near the negative energy plane.

whereupon you enter you begin to disintegrate, to break up into even more
dust upon the area. Things swim through this ocean of sand and dust, such as

Random pockets of negative energy are a danger, and those that live here
often hunger for real flesh. One more... Salt."
Halo of Noire: "A sea of salt, a dangerous plane as when you arrive the salt
begins to pull the moisture from your body in the sea of salts. Your skin
begins to shrivel, your lips begin to crack, the moisture in your eyes
deserts and the ability
Halo of Noire: to blink is negated. As you travel upon Salt your very being,
and everything upon you begins to be encrusted with salt. Being able to
breathe is not the main problem, as you msut be able to stave off the
dehydration. Water you bring

salty. The only known creatures are salt mephits. Of course, some of you may
be asking why do i need to know about the planes? Well, perhaps

but some of you will find yourself there at some point. Perhaps even on a
Halo of Noire: Thursday night." Grins a little and shrugs. "But regardless,
I think knowing more about the multiverse is merely a means of knowledge and
the more knowledge you know the better you are. And you never know when you
might be in a
Halo of Noire: trivia challenge and the question might be what plane lies
between the Plane of Earth and Water. Now, I'll take questions or comments."
TarnishedWarlord: Hearing about the plane of salt Lithel shivered visibly.
His normally all smiles turned into a deep frown. Those black eyes looking
down just a moment, taking note in his mind on what this plane was. He'd even
have to put to memory
TarnishedWarlord: just where it was located in the near future. Being who he
was, and what he knew his body was changing into, salt was very much the only
thing he would avoid at all costs. Even the plane of fire, magma, and smoke
were childs play

TarnishedWarlord: compared to Salt in his mind. Never the less he turned to
see Emma there, feeling the bump she gave him earlier, but not wanting to
interupt the lesson. Smiling softly to her now he gave a slight bow of his
head, only to turn his

TarnishedWarlord: attention back to the lesson, and those asking questions.
Amuiril Travm: "While mages are able to call forth elementals from
their named planes easily... Why is it that elementals never seem to cross
into the prime material on their own?"
Amuiril Travm: "If the plane of water is the source of all water, for
example, why do the seas not rage with active Water Elementals?"

Halo of Noire: "Of that, I don't know Amuiril, to be honest. It's really
only when one of the planes juts into our Prime that we see that. Such as
what I heard of in Eden when the plane of Ice broke into their desert and the
imprisoned demoness

undead and other elemental creatures from various planes due to the upheaval
of the planes there. I know crazy things happen when the planes hit our Prime
but as far as why
Halo of Noire: they don't travel here otherwise I'm not sure."

needed to be done and such.

necessary in many ways. In a few weeks I will speak on the Outer Planes,

quite hospitable on many of

question, eyebrows drawn together as she drew on her mental studies to

Halo of Noire: "When elementals or other outsiders come to the prime, or we
go there, and in some way a child is born.... since you are half elemental
that means one parent is an elemental - there are also those whose roots lay
in the elements

visibly again when he had a thought, only to make his thought known. "As long
as we never go to the Salt plane...I could not face such a place. Anything

does make a world of difference."

hand just slightly for a second, only to speak up and make his question

place I may be forced to live on the Plane of Water." Not that he'd really be
upset about that, but he would hate to give up his state of Oratio, or leave
his friends for good

indeed." And his maners seemed to of slipped, but he remembered them just

and perhaps you were inundated with the energy of water and it is slowly
shaping you into
